I'm going into get my blood test results today.
I have spoken to the doctor and he is familiar (endo) with hcg and ai so that's a step. He seemed cautious about subQ (said it would hurt more - but I'm reading here that shots would only be .25-.33 ml so maybe it wouldn't).
Anyway, how do you inject subQ?
Do you stick the needle straight in or try to pinch an inch of fat and inject it kind of horizontal, or maybe it doesn't matter.
How do you know you won't hit a vein or artery of some kind? Maybe a silly question, maybe there aren't veins that close to stomach or leg blubber.
Anyway, I'm psyched about this, hoping to avoid the IM shots, which I've had before and are pretty painful to get every week or so.
I am 40, about 250, relatively muscular, 6'1". I have had test tested years ago, it was about 350 I think. I would guess it's a lot lower now.
