Most (99%) of women I come across are shallow, superficial, creatures. I'd definitely want to keep and gain strength, however, I don't need to be benching heavy weight like a retard. Aesthetics for the ladies.

Well if thats the case bro then they never really look at you. They look at themselves and compare their body to the body of other women.

Only if you get prettier and more attention then they get will aesthetics ever matter...and then it just engenders jealousy.

I say go for a mix. Build up mass in your Biceps & jiggly in your Belly...and the forearm strength to crush walnuts in the palm of your hand. Then get a gash across your face so when it scars up you ain't to pretty...that's the look.

But if you're doing this to make yourself attractive to a lot of women...all you need is stacks of green.

The Force of Green don't gots a lot of dat kinda green ;) Nome sayin? Nah mean? haha

I hear you though.

Mainly for aesthetics... Hell yeah I'm a narcissist and I love looking fit, and of course it feels good when a woman compliments your body. Second, just for general overall health. When I work out I have more energy and generally just feel better overall. I work a desk job so I know I have to do it!

I'm more specific with my goals now I'd be happy staying at 9-10%bf but be up over 260lbs or so, but I want flexibility, mobility and strength, so i'll train like a powerlifter or atleast use some westside barbell principles combined with carb/calorie cycling, interval/steady state cardio and intense stretching. Basically wanna be like a jacked line backer, lol I want a jacked body that is functional is all i'm trying to say.

when you get down to it, being able to bench 400 and squat 600 has zero practical use unless you are lifting competitively. So as far as im concerned, its really all about asthetics. I know that some people call that superficial and stupid, but whats so wrong with getting healthier and better looking at the same time?

Word man, I feel the same way.

Strength, but if you stay in decent shape and lift for strength you can still look good. If you look at powerlifters in the 242 and under they usually look pretty good with ample muscle.

And here he is at 265 and carb depleted.A man who trains purely for strength as he is a competitive powerlifter. The second is fully carb loaded.

Pantera, you did not put the shot up of his back. It is something that is not going to be attained without some heavy heavy lifting.
