hell yeah that sh*t was crazy.. did they ever say if he ended up breaking the sound barrier?
 
That was crazy. He still didn't break the record for longest freefall and jumped way higher than the last guy. How does that make sense?

Previous record was from 1960. I don't know the details but i'm skeptical of the accuracy, at least compared to todays jump. Also he could've probably gone longer without deploying his chute
