Wasnt hatin on you bro, but being from Jersey you should know we are the land of the "apple on a stick" Summer Shore Body as I like to call it. You know what I'm talking about...the guys that gear up until memorial day and do chest, arms, and abs every workout...

You best post up links to that article when it comes out...Keep up the good work..
 
rocky82, yeah I here u on that one. Some of these guys are almost unbelievable when you see them walking around. it's like they totally disregard training legs. it's a shame though because heavy intense leg workouts produce some of the biggest gains in terms of muscle growth, fat loss and the hormonal cascade that floods the body afterwards. I knew you weren't being sarcastic as we jersey guys have a language all to our own.
 
That we do...But with regard to leg training, it all comes out in the wash. Guys that disregard legs not only send out a homing beacon that they aren't serious about bodybuilding, but also make themselves look more and more ridiculous with every rep they rip out on the flat bench instead of the squat rack.

I go to a very popular gym that is ALWAYS packed (4 parking lots full) but I aboslutely love training legs there because aside from battling a few girls for the leg extension I get the leg equipment all to myself. I can do supersets galore, blast through an entire routine in no time, its great. I seriously think I could train legs butt ass naked and nobody would know...


By the way, something I also noticed that I found funny...Why do all of these posers train chest on monday??

I think it's part of some secret society, all gym puss cardio moneys train chest on Monday without fail, no matter where you live..

Hey grexx I know we're getting off topic but i couldnt help but see you mentioned the Short Hills Mall...I'm just curious, you seem to have a pretty damn small waist, but I assume your legs are oversized...what brand and where do you buy your jeans?? I've given up on diesel pretty much but I can squeeze my fat ass into AG size 34
 
You guys are def Jersey's finest... I miss diesel jeans, D&G and Versace, here in chicago its just not accepted...
Have you tried Diesel Snake X jeans they have a generous fit for those squatter legs...
I dont know how low you go on the pole but Mavi's are pretty comfortable too

I'm still in search of the magic jeans that will allow me to fit a 34-36 inch waist and 30 inch legs with a straight leg look...mavi's are very comfortable but look a little too baggy for my liking

So true, for some reason it has always been and probably always will be like that! That's something I've joked about while avoiding Monday nights.
 
well the only way that it would really piss you off, is if you YOURSELF trained chest on Mondays... :)

and I personally don't give a **** what body part anyone trains on what day.. why should you?

I dont care either, its just that when all the loud mouth posers gather around the flat bench and yell and scream and get all pumped using a weight that I warm up with, it kind of draws my attention, whether i like it or not

I'm just venting about run of the mill gym rat happenings...
