Had a quick 35 minute workout this morning before work. I did supersets the entire time there. I did 3/4 scoop of a 300mg of caffeine preworkout so about 225mg.

I took 1 cap of S&A Support at 8am after my mini workout.

do high (or higher at least for you) stims tend to trigger your anxiety to come on later?

The thing about true anxiety is that it can come on randomly and can be tough to pin point the cause.

Sure sometimes high stims can trigger anxiety. Other triggers are issues with my wife. The constant worry for my kids futures.

Work related issues can by another trigger at times.

Work was slow this morning. My afternoon work schedule is busy. I am going to take another capsule at 12:30pm with a shot of espresso.

No anxiety so far!

I 100% get that (tho I don't "understand" as I've never had real anxiety) - as my wife has horrible issues and was recently (after literally barely being able to live/leave the house as things like "walking the dog" began causing her full on panic attacks - thinking "what happens to her if I die?!"- on the side of the road in our neighborhood) prescribed lexapro.

She would have things that we knew would trigger (getting on an airplane and normally "stressful/worrisome" things) but then sometimes things like "my toast was burnt, it could've caught the house on fire and killed everyone and the dog" would happen... Anxiety is such a crazy thing (especially for those of us that haven't truly experienced the illogical nature of it)

Had a good night with the family. I felt less on edge with my wife and that allowed me to enjoy my time with my kids.

I can say This product has really done some good for me in a short period of time. I am impressed!

Had a great intense workout (little over an hour) this morning. All exercises were 15 reps. Most exercises were supersets.

My preworkout was OG Kraken so 200mg caffeine but has a couple strong stims in there too. Also took 2 grams of Cordyceps to help with endurance.

Now on the way to work and dosed 1 cap of Stress & Anxiety at 8:30am.

Do you usually have trouble falling asleep? Or is this new since starting this supplement?

I miss OG Kraken, along with CU (still have 1 tub that is almost gone)
My work schedule is not that busy today.
I love non-busy work days. They are VERY rare in the medical field, so we really appreciate them..

On occasion (not very often though) I will have trouble falling asleep in general. I don’t think it is related to the product, but I will continue to monitor that.

Yeah, OG Kraken and CU are still my top two pres. Sadly I don’t have any CU left. I still have 1.5 bottles of the OG Kraken left

You are definitely right about the medical field work flow.

So I have yet to have any anxiety since starting this product. Typically by now I would have had at least a few bouts with anxiety. This product does a great job at preventing anxiety for me. I know it’s still early in my testing, but atm I am going to say this will be a new staple for me.

Damn glad this is working out well for you. Haven’t dealt with anxiety at all lately myself but this would have been a godsend most of my adult life. Might have to give this a shot anyway

I took my second capsule of the day at 5:30pm on my way home from work.

The family time was enjoyable. Took an epsom salt (magnesium) bath with my two boys. I think we were in there for a full hour haha. It felt great on my sore muscles and helps to relax the boys before bedtime.

I’d say that was what finally killed it for me. Just getting my life straight in general helped a lot but I still dealt with it in bouts. I do think cutting Mary Jane out of my life completely killed my depression and fasting killed my anxiety. Got back in the gym consistently in December, cut my daily mj habit around April 1st (first week of this was hell, anyone who says you can’t get addicted is clueless), and fasted a ton throughout late April, all of May, and ended my 10 day fast June 6th. I can honestly say I have not experienced anxiety once while sober since that 10 day fast. Just happy to be truly happy for the first time in nearly a decade.

Have you ever tried long term fasting?

Fasting seems to be good for some people but it’s definitely not an answer for anxiety for everyone. I’m glad that it works great for some people but it increases my anxiety so it definitely affects ppl differently.

I haven’t tried long term fasting or even intermittent fasting. I get very anxious during the day if I haven’t ate in 5-6 hours. Did you use to get like that?

I am am on supplement overload as usual, but I really have to make this one a priority. While my anxiety is currently mostly in check, it certainly has room for improvement at times. I like the idea of this silently working with my system to keep my anxiety in check.

I was 20 or 21 (29 now) when I started IF and haven’t looked back since so it’s hard to say. That was a bit before things went downhill for me though, I don’t recall dealing with anxiety at all at that age aside from a bit of social anxiety.

I always advise first time fasters to take whatever they need to get through the first 3 days though, this product could be just what you need!

Completely agree with you. Seems like everything I try for anxiety has some sort of negative side effect (usually sedation or increase in depression). So, something that you don't really notice (but is working in the background at decreasing anxiety) is a huge positive.

I mean this is already a few things I take daily anyways and the price point is pretty solid.

2 caps a day for pretty much all the time, then add more when stress is higher or in situations when you know you may need more help.

I took my first cap of S&A at 7am this morning. I stopped at a local coffee shop for a Nitro coffee (on tap) before work. Anyone else like Nitro coffee? I am not sure the caffeine content though.

This morning I did 1 cap at 7am. I had breakfast at 6:15am so this was not on an empty stomach.

7:30am was an interview for getting my kids into the private school we want them to attend. This school is well known for its academics and goes from 2 years old all the way to senior year high school.

The interview went well. No anxiousness or anxiety. Not sure if that can be attributed to the product or not.

I am now at work and having no anxiety at the moment.
We got the word this morning that both of the boys are accepted into the school we had the interview with! We are happy about this as we feel it’s best for their futures.

This morning I had to stroke a check for a full years tuition for a 2% discount

My other son’s tuition we are going to make 12 payments (monthly) on.

School starts in August.

I haven’t tried Starbucks one before. I don’t go to big chain coffee shops. Nitro cold brew is great. It’s creamy and smooth and you don’t need to add anything to it. Reminiscent of a drinking a Guinness.

Someone mentioned social anxiety so I will touch on that. I have struggled with social anxiety for the past few years. This product does not make you want to socialize or is not a social lubricant IME. Although when you are in conversation or socializing you are more at ease. It eliminated the anxiety during the social interactions. This has been very helpful for me.

Nice details .. best of luck with private school hope it all works out.

I have a 6week old kid and I’m already thinking about his college lol
You'd be wise to keep this thinking moving FWD, when my kids were born (25 and 22 years ago) we opened Fidelity 529 savings plans, one for each kid. Those, plus putting extra money into a separate "college" savings account over the years, we were able to pay for both kids colleges w/out loans, right out of pocket. (250K over 6 years they attended (they overlap in age) would have been disastrous w/ loans for ages. Youngest just graduated (oldest did a couple years ago) and it feels good that no loans were needed. Highly suggest talking to a financial person whenever you can.

That is valuable information..

I had severe social anxiety growing up, I was actually held back in first grade because of it! As if that helped anything...ha! That was in the 80’s though, so I would hope that is not common practice in schools nowadays. My social anxiety continued up through my college years, and it really took a significant mental toll on me. It’s a very lonely existence when you feel you can’t fit in with your peers because of SA. I finally requested to be prescribed Paxil by my PCP....and it did help tremendously for awhile. Still, I think going untreated all those years largely contributed to my very severe GAD and depression I developed after a series of acute events when I was 27..

I have been on Prozac and Klonopin ever since that time, and have been mostly stable. Despite this, I feel that my SA has naturally gotten better as I get older, and more bitter. I have definitely started to care less what other people think of me without even thinking about it. Sometimes I even shock myself (and often others) with the things that I say out loud, yet I am still not a fan of “small talk” - it just doesn’t interest me. I have definitely come out of my shell though...haha!

I still have to take a beta blocker though if I am to do a presentation at work. Again, much mental trauma growing up in school when I had to do oral presentations. I would sweat profusely, feel like my heart was beating out of my chest, face beet red, and my throat would close up to the point that I was gasping out the words. Horrible experience..

Yes, although it’s easier to avoid situations, it becomes VERY satisfying to successfully get through presentations etc...and do it well! The first time this really happened for me was with the aid of a beta blocker during my second round of college. My teacher said I had the best presentation in the class and said I was a natural teacher. A year or two later, I saw her at a conference and she asked me if I would be interested in becoming part of the faculty. Haha!

I ultimately turned it down because I wanted to work in the field for awhile, and it would have required getting a master’s degree. I was done with higher education after already spending 8 hrs in full-time college programs.

Thanks for sharing your personal struggle. It’s good you have gotten through a lot of the issues. I don’t know how it will work with your current medications and or if there is any interaction you should be aware of?

I am so thankful I didn’t have SA or GAD growing up. I would have been a complete mess!

Btw I too have always hated “small talk” and never been good at it. In fact it makes me cringe haha it’s too bad we have to do it so often through the day.

Thanks for joining the log brother. Good suggestion.

That was one of the first things I tried to get rid of my anxiety (cutting out caffeine and stims). I cut all caffeine out and it just left me lethargic, down and filled with anxiety.

I have found that some caffeine is necessary for me. If I go to high then It will backfire on me. I find 140mg-200mg dose of caffeine works best for me.

I can go slightly higher (175mg-300mg) preworkout without it backfiring on me.

Yeah, thankfully I haven’t had to experience any significant mental issues very often in the past 15 years or so. Though I have gone through 2-3 subsequent episodes. Overall, that’s pretty darn good though..

You know me, I have taken just about everything under the sun for supplements, including those in this product in one form or another- and vitamins we normally obtain from the sun. I have never had any issues with med reactions that I am aware of. I am only on 10mg Prozac...so very little. I will still be picking this up though because I feel that my occasional relatively mild anxiety could still potentially benefit. I’d imagine I will be placing an order for it within a week or so..

Yup, small talk is for the birds. In fact I’d rather talk to birds than participate in small talk...

Sounds good, Im going to try some SNS S&A supps to take the edge off. Life's stress can get to us all. I know what you mean about the caffeine sweet spot, I do the same... When I have none, I feel like crap, too much, wound too tight / anxious. Thanks..

By helping with social anxiety, it’s helped me be more relaxed and comfortable in social settings. I’m actually a very social person, I’m just shy and get anxiety in large crowds. It’s made a huge difference for me.
