There are no estrogenic ingredients in BASIS.
I had replied, then thought about it, and decided to expand on my answer for you &/or anyone else that reads the post and wonders about the context that you're referring to.
BASIS - Specifically Formulated to Contain No Estrogen Increasing Ingredients
That was a very important part of the formulation process for BASIS and the ingredient selection and vetting process - because as you likely know from posting that, that some ingredients that increase bone morphogenetic proteins do have estrogenic properties.
That can get very confusing for some people to read and understand because some ingredients may have an effect on a certain receptor site that sounds like it would be estrogen related and isn't, but then some ingredients that can have an effect on bone morphogenetic proteins are ingredients that may cause increases in estrogen levels in some people.
That was something that we were very conscious of when formulating BASIS.
There are no ingredients in BASIS that will increase estrogen levels.
Possible Mild AI Properties in Males that Struggle with Estrogen Dominance:
There are some ingredients in BASIS that may have mild AI properties in males with estrogen dominance, which would be a very good thing.
These properties are so mild, that I wouldn't expect there to be much, if any noticeable AI effect on males that do not have issues with estrogen dominance.
I don't know that the mild AI effects will be pronounced enough to be very noticeable for men that do have issues with estrogen dominance; we aren't even mentioning it in the write up, as I would think of it as more of a nice surprise bonus for anyone that it helps with that.
Estrogen Dominance:
Estrogen dominance is a condition that is different than what many people on AM think of when they think of excess estrogen, as estrogen dominance is not related to steroid use.
For anyone reading that doesn't know what estrogen dominance is:
- Estrogen dominance is a condition where the body produces too much estrogen relative to testosterone, which can lead to various health issues in men.
- In men, estrogen dominance can be caused by various factors, the most common ones being obesity, aging, medications, liver issues, &/or stress.
- Obesity: Estrogen dominance is more likely in overweight/obese males because excess body fat can lead to increased estrogen production through a process called aromatization where fat cells cause there to be an abundance of estrogen instead of testosterone.
- Aging: Testosterone levels naturally decline with age, while estrogen levels remain relatively stable.
- Liver Issues: The liver helps metabolize estrogen, so liver issues can lead to increased estrogen levels. Approximately 42% of people in the US have non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).
- Stress: Chronic stress can lead to increased cortisol levels, which can negatively impact testosterone and progesterone levels, potentially contributing to estrogen dominance.
Men that have issues with estrogen dominance have to be very careful about taking any ingredients that may increase estrogen levels.
BASIS will not increase estrogen levels and may help slightly reduce estrogen levels in men with estrogen dominance.
Important note: The prevalence of estrogen dominance in the US continues to increase, especially with the obesity epidemic and high percentage of people that have non-alcoholic fatty liver disease in the US. As popular as Inhibit-E is with the bodybuilding and fitness crowd, it is very popular and useful for people with NAFLD and estrogen dominance.

So basically, bodybuilders, athletes, and fitness enthusiasts don't have to worry about anything in BASIS increasing estrogen levels at all because it is designed to be able to be taken even by men that are estrogen sensitive.
