Snag continues his off-season REDEFINing

I've done this before with two dmaa based products. Put in yep of one and one of another instead of my bcaa mix.... Felt miserable for hours lol. Sweats, shakes, pale and headaches lol do not recommend.

i am just now starting to level out.
nastyness. :nono:

i used to tolerate stims pretty good..hell i used 3 scoops Jack3d at one time (OG formula), with no issues..
them days are long gone. i have weened myself of stims pretty well, and avoid overdoing them, cycle them too of course.
hell i haven't done a fat-burner or pure energy-type compound since my prep for last July show, and went away from the preWO products too for couple months.
yes, it hit me hard today.

well you better get in stim mode...the new fatburner looks rock solid with enough stims in profile to make even me excited to try it!!!

btw-how is g8 treating you, thats one of the finaflex products that always interested me. i loved mst's somnidren, i wonder how it compares?

indeed on the new PX, profile looks fantastic (and yes very powerful).
i have a feeling it may take me couple days to get acclimated to it. will drop the Ignite2 of course at the start, to assess.

the G8 bro..ooooo the G8! :yum:
LOVING that stuff! wish i had some today to level me out quicker, and srsly thought about it, but i'm taking 2 days off weekly and this was the 2nd day of course :(
i figured i'd run it a lil differently than every day for a short duration or whatever, get better and longer spread out of it.
fantastic stuff!

dinner tonight (now that i can see straight to cook following my overdose)

5oz 90% ground sirloin
5oz 96% lean beef
7oz sweet potato
romaine salad w/ fixins
~ (oh you are not gonna believe this...) 625 calories
(again)

after living off 96% lean beef for the last, oh i dunno weeks, maybe couple months (i had a bunch of it)
the sirloin was a nice lil change-up indeed.
almost dint know what to do with myself, taste buds had an orgasm

random note: today was a bit different structure for me, food-wise
let me say first that i have a range of cals i work within, anywhere from 2850 (usually only on off days, not always tho) to 4250.
the # of feedings usually is from 5-7, but mostly 6x daily
today, i will have had ~4k cals, from 9 meals -- and that includes a 700cal breakfast (Egg McSnag was a lil heavier, used different bread and sirloin, added ~75 cals to the mix)
small some feedings were small
i base/plan my meals on how long i am awake for the day, spacing things pretty evenly thruout..and today been a longgggg day. :sigh:

I'm learning from you faja lol. I'm looking at implementing some of your dietary principles as day:day eating. Now that I'm not working and much less active this could be very critical for keeping my gains lean over the next two weeks+ or so

Always learning ;-)

@ bean5er - i know right?? :p

@ DW - i'm not a diabetic, but i eat like one
if i go so long w/o food, i feel like a diabetic..not good
it's the only mode i have ever found that is comfortable for me, all day long, and also is conducive to growth
keeping blood sugar levels stable is the key
fits all of my philosophies
(oh - lol on faja bahaha) :D

sad thing is, how many of us have seen some **** like this in the gym..
wow

haven't pushed myself too much here in pct, but every once in awhile (1x weekly maybe during this time) i will test things out on a different bodypart to see where strength levels are at, even tho i have a general idea from feel anyway..

so last w/e it was da wheels. this w/e i picked shoulders.

standing BB behind-neck military, 5 sets range from 185x12 to last set 225x6, followed last set 20sec later with speed burnout set of 135x11 before i failed..this was the highlight of the day
strength levels are fine ;)

what a bee-U-tee-full day. :cool2:

Looking great my man. What did bfast consist of today? Egg mcsnag??
nope, usually is, today diffrent

should have mentioned in above post --- this was a fasted upon rising workout, fueled with just some BCAA+SAA and dextrose + Crea-Trona pre & intra.

so, breakfast followed training, and was hi-protein (50g) with 75g complex carbs (mostly from grape nuts).

Egg McSnag IS the most consistent thing in my diet for sure, but never is anything ever the same!

more food stuff
my postWO meal today..
so basically when i carb-up for preWO and then consume dextrose intra, if i also have simple carbs in my postWO shake, then 30-45min later or so i will switch gears and have higher fat intake and reduced carbs for the postWO meal..
such was the case today

Invalid Link Removed

5oz canned chunk tuna w/ couple TBS salsa
1 packet sweet & spicy Tuna Creations
veggie medley
2 TBS natty PB (one pictured, but 2 were consumed)
roughly ~400cals

old school roger...schooling the youngster!!!!

the bad thing about it....roger was in much better shape than the kid was, lol....

i bet that concept would work for me...blood glucose is low!!!

I had 2 tbsps of peanut butter with 5 hardboiled eggs and a banana for one of my meals yesterday and my wife flipped when I put the PB on the eggs and ate them whole! Shyt was hilarious. Tasted good too

huh
interesting mix man, big load of fat too..i kinda like the sound of PB on a hard-boiled egg, never tried that!
the only time i approach 30/35/40g of fat in one sitting is when i'm eating a fattier (or larger-cut) chunk of steak, which i usually have salad with so fats from dressing of choice
altho, big steak + baked potato w/ butter might approach that neighborhood too

i'm thinking clean here obviously..if i go out and maul some ribs or something we'll get over 50g+ in a hurry LOL

isn't it interesting the different combos we concoct?

Very interesting indeed!

My meats are chicken and tuna so I usually supplement fat with mixed nuts or PB
yessir
intentionally eat a lot of lean meat, just to be able to fit those fun tasty (and better-source) fats in da mix. :yup:
simple but powerful concept

just so that when you maul those ribs....they are slathered in sweet baby rays.

i am going to pay more attention to your diet tips, low glucose presents some real issues at times...i hate having to binge on fast acting carbs just to feel right when i go hypo...

it's something that i feel if you know your body and when these things happen to you, yes you can certainly be preemptive and stay ahead of the changes

alternating your carb meals is a great generic base with which to start, and hitting the higher fats between those meals

you may want to avoid the simple carbs as much as possible, and stick to complex..
if you find planning opportune spots for small amounts of simple sugars works better and allows you to stay ahead of the curve, incorporate that..
gonna have to play around and see how it fits for your individual metabolic response

beast of a meal for dinner tonight..mmmmmmmm

Invalid Link Removed
5oz 93% lean ground turkey
9oz chicken breast
salad w/ fixins
1/2 serving rice cakes (love this flav)
~625 cals

was off day from training, carbs lowered to ~150g, total cals will be ~3k this day

nice mix man
you getting in fats in surrounding meals then, like an alternating pattern?

on the food front - another off day today, cals will be bumped to 3250, carbs to ~225..static moderate fats and hi-protein round it out..quinoa on tap today for 2 meals..
i don't need to push energy since i'll be in front of my computer all day, not leaving the house

DreamWeaver blowing that stupid arctic crap my way, chilling me out
my garage is a lil cold this morning, -20 at 7am here
could still work out if i wanted, but don't feel like battling the elements or jacking up the heat out there

i'm a sissy this day :p

nice mix man

p

Fat meal 1
Low fat meal 2
Low fat meal 3
Fat meal 4
.... Something like that. It's the IGF mostly limiting my fat intake for certain meals so it depends when i work out. It's like a 4-6 hour window for carbs and protein only

but of course

i am going to have to work on a game plan to be more preemptive, i found my last bloods and glucose was 63...70-110 is normal range, but i didn't fast before since i went for a testosterone check.

i've been told that when they check for glucose you are suppossed to fast 1st...so by not fasting i would think that made it higher than it would of been if i fasted....63 is pretty low even if i had fasted!!!

federer is amazing....all these next generation kids look dead and fed looks like he could play another 3 sets. murray is next up!!!!

Just had the "Egg McSnag" it was awesome! Have some wicked heart burn at the moment but it was worth it haha.

Went with grass feed beef too, think I may keep buying. Just a little salt & pepper and it was damn good!
awesome man!
yeah i'm still 5x weekly with that, pretty much..it never gets old :D

i don't do flax seed..does sound good tho :)

got my legs in yesterday, nice lil patented session
i'd been doing leg extension leading off quadwork for awhile, changing things up..went back to leading off w/ squats, enjoy the change (again)

5x15/12/10/8/8 ATG BB squats
3 set leg extensions (20/20/20) ss w/ lying leg curls (15/12/8)
3x15/12/8 RDLs
5x20/20/18/15/15 standing BB calf raises (alternating toes straight/in/out)

nice lil session

off day today, had to take care of crap :aargh:
