I will dead with him Friday. As long as he is up for it maybe we will go to a heavy triple, I'll tape it right and post it so he can get more help.

Nah, all they have are knee wraps, wrist wraps, wrist straps, tees, and a slingshot lookin thing. They're just getting started, I'd never heard of them.

Inzer Z's! Obviously that claim is going to be met by a barrage of differing opinions. That are all wrong, but I feel they've all earned the right to their wrong opinions.
 

They're stretchy, and I like the stretchy wraps wherever they go on my body. If I were to get another pair, I'd probably get Inzer Grippers.

They remind me of Blue Arrows. Never wore 'em, just grabbed and stretched them around. Similar weight, similar stretch, but you don't have to chalk your knees.
 
I was very nervous and anxious. I hardly set myself, pretty much didnt. I know I didn't lock. The second the bar was coming up I knew it was all wrong. Maybe should have stopped, idk.

Certainly not my best at all. Ill read through what everyone said thoroughly the moment after I eat. Just got back from work.

Herder I shall heed your post. This week I'm gonna go back and go over deadlift form vids and whatnot and be ready to lift with rob on Friday.

Your right man, I gotta learn to leave that sht at the door. The whole time warming up and pyramiding I kept thinking about it. I even forgot to put my belt on, and I realized that when I started vid. Which is why it's in there.
 
No need to go over form vids. The deadlift is both very individual and very animalistic. Brace your core, pull the slack out of the bar and don't stop pulling until you lock it out. I should make a viral deadlift form video, it would be no more than 35 seconds long.

Once you get a braced neutral core, your lumbar will quit rounding. And locking out is as simple as standing straight and tall and squeezing your ass.

Watch the video Sean just posted in his log about bracing the core. It's money, and the guy doing the instructing has squatted 1000lbs and deadlifted 900 and has done the ab wheel from standing to all the way splayed out and back 25 times, which is almost as impressive as his big lifts.
 
Oh and just to clear things up, I do not have a trainer. But the trainer at my gym is a friend. Sooo that was what I was reffering to earlier gents.

Then I tried to go again and my left rear delt was killer all of a sudden. Kept trying to go but it didn't feel good. I think it's because my rhomboid was tight as hell by that shoulder blade. Mashed it when I was done and just now.

Still would like to see more of a setup there. You're reaching for the bar with a bent back and then straightening it as you get your hips into position. That will work fine when the weights aren't challenging, but if you don't have any air down in your belly, your back will round again. Stand over the bar, flex your glutes as hard as you can, flex your abs, get max air into your belly, then set your hips and pull.

AND DON'T BEAT THE DOWN COMMAND! Maybe he gave you a hand signal, but you beat the verbal command. I watched an 800lb pull beat the command by a quarter of a second. 800! And he got three reds.

Hell yeah! We had a guy shyt himself squatting today!

That's almost happened to me deadlifting one morning. My stomach is always upset in the am, and coming up I damn near **** myself. Went straight to the bathroom afterward lol
 
Squat up to 265 with box. It was easy. Best squat session ever. Watched so you think you can squat right before and I fixed some small things I saw the improvement big time.

Did some gms with 25s and man has it improved a lot too.

Still bouncing around after the session. It's amazing how a simple adjustment of keeping head up, and keeping a big chest, and fixing bar placement can have such a big difference for me.

Also doing more hip mobility has helped too I'm sure
 
Placed an elite fts order. Got another red band, chalk (1st time buying), wrist wraps, and some shirts. I plan on getting another onyx for Xmas

I haven't read but the beginning of your log, and watched your early video, and then bounced to the end, but looking good young fella. ;) Sub'd.

You're benching BB style, as Napalm alluded. Nothing wrong with that necessarily, but youre a PLer, so yeah, you need to get those elbows way in, more like I trust you do when you CGBP. Drop the weight if you need to, so it becomes second nature. The strength is there though. That looked really easy. You've come a long way since the start of your log (225 bench) it would seem.

Also, while your set up looks pretty decent, and your arch reasonable, I can't tell whether you are keeping the scap retracted and using some leg drive, which I think someone else may have mentioned. Get someone to video you if you can't set it up to better capture it on your own, so you can get some good advice.

Keep truckin'. Love to see discipline in a young man, and you have it.

Great to have ya man. Thanks for the input. It's definitely been a fun lil journey so far. I just can't wait to get my first out of the way so I can relax mentally a bit lol

My lifts have improved, I've had some setbacks, but I'm pleased thus far. Ill be posting a 95% tm of 90% tomorrow if my rhomboid is gtg. Elbow tuck and activating legs are the most important work for me with bench at this point IMO
