Unfortunately this isn't an April fools day prank. This is a guy trying to capitalize off his popularity by selling you 24 servings of protein for $65

People were buying and there isn't even a supplement facts or ingredients list (only states hydrolyzed protein...).

Lulz were had on the comments on Instagram though.

Id be interested to see his cost sheet/business model for this product. I mean, here in NZ, I can purchase 20kg bags of protein powder for dirt cheap (relatively speaking), without flavouring...so how might his price get broken down into production costs (assuming the protein powder itself is cheap)...flavouring? Packaging?

Whey Hydrolosate for $32.50/LB????????? Current Retail for that is: 'Hydrolyzed Whey Protein Super Grade' $15.79/LB, and you know he's getting it cheaper.

Mr. P.T. Barnum...calling Mr. P.T. Barnum...

NewAgemayan: NZ Grass Fed Whey? That must be awesome. We (US) can get that for $12.69/LB

I wonder what % is actually hydrolyzed? It only needs to be a small percentage to slap it on the label.

Yes, as I'm sure he walks to the dairy out back, to get what's in the tub :) It gets so old - everyone acting like they can go out of their office door... and pet cows. 9x% of them get the same protein everyone else can get - from wholesalers. I think Dante Trudel just did an article on this - TN, Optimum, Universal, and a *small* handful of others actually go right to a dairy.

Found it:

The majority of supplement companies out there don't make their own products. They are retail/marketing companies in offices with marketing/advertising people who never get near making a product or see an ounce of powder. These companies have contract manufacturers (like my company) make their products for them... We at True Nutrition are part of the 1% of the industry that makes their own products with a fully FDA audited GMP manufacturing plant. Optimum Nutrition makes their own products, Universal makes their own products along with a handful of others... So let me tell you how this works ok? Raw ingredients come into our warehouse... Let's use for example WPC (whey protein concentrate), its bought from the dairy itself or its packaging mediary...
