did some research and this certainly seems like a very interesting and useful product.. now i know this is meant to be taken with a high carb meal esp. post workout but what about with something high carb and high fat.. like a cheat meal burger n fries.. or something along those lines?

Yea thats fine, i usualy take 2-3 prior to a super high carb/fat meal.
 
Use as directed. Reserve it for complex carb meals pre-works such as oatmeal, brown rice, etc. It simulates insulin and acts to induce your muscles to uptake glycogen more efficiently.
