Sleeping supplement question.

Hey everyone, I know there's been plenty of threads on this already, but my main problem isn't falling asleep, it's actually staying asleep. I usually get 5-6 hours of sleep every night and although some people tell me it's normal, I sort of want to experience what it's like to have more sleep. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've tried the sleep hygiene tricks already (no light 1 hr before bed, etc)

I'm in the same boat. I can fall asleep but staying asleep is always an issue. As you can tell, it's 2:38 am and I'm up. Sigh* I hope I fall asleep for a few more hours before work. If not, I guess I'll train. :/

5:15am and I haven't slept for more than 30 minutes at a time. I haven't found anything that helps me stay asleep straight through the night every time.

Phenibut has but I only take it every once in a while because of how addictive it can be. A lot of other sleep supplements do the exact opposite for me.

I'm currently logging Dream N Grow from Iron Mag Labs and it's really doing the trick from me. I used to fall asleep around 3 or 4 am and then wake up by 6 am. Now I'm feeling asleep within 30 minutes of taking it whether 10 pm or 8 pm and I'll sleep until about 7 am when my daughter wakes.

Well when I was studying for exams I had a terrible time staying awake because I am a light sleeper. I found the only way is to have everything turned off and let the body 'wind down' with a good book or light stretching, then go to bed when I am actually sleepy. Really there is no way to force sleep!

When I'd wake up 2hrs later to have to go to toilet, the trick is to dive straight back to bed without thoughts building up. If that fails then melatonin or (thanks to a friend who put me onto it) Phenibut puts me back to sleep. :)

Also ear plugs are a must!

I woke up at 12 AM and I normally get up to train at 4-5AM. It sucks....cause I can't tell if I'm well rested enough for my workout or not.

Definitely check out IML's new product Dream N Grow, nfmejia0486 mentioned it above. I am also logging this product, and its given me the best sleep I've had in years. I helps me feel drowsy in before bed, and it helps a lot with sleeping solid through the night. Well worth it in my opinion, I've been loving the product so far.

So many things you could try -

GABA (play with the dose, start with 500 mg. I find that 2000 mg knocks me out cold, better than 5,000 mg or 500 mg.)
Mucuna Pruriens
ZMA - easily overlooked.
Ashwagandha (may be relaxing, or energizing, so this may be good or bad)
Valerian
5-HTP

Growth Factor xt. Pm me your shipping info and I will get you a sample

I've actually already tried a sample of GFXT (as well as a bottle) and loved it. I was just posting up this thread to see which ingredients target this specific problem as opposed to an all-in-one formula. Thanks though!

I have been using a few different things. Sleep/gh from prime and the hi tech version

A good product that is fairly new and I am using now is IML's Dream n Grow. Its an awesome sleep supp that will help your recover fast as well.

What's in growth factor xt?

im taking prosupps crash and its pretty crazy just at 1 cap......2 caps im definitely knocked out for the count.

I've had good luck with 3Z by AI Sports. It doesn't really knock me out, just relaxes me and makes falling asleep easy. But it keeps me asleep for 7-8 hours.
