One question:
Db flat hex press:
160x8 speed
140x8 speed

That's not 160lbs each hand , right? If it is, I quit lifting and join a ballet class. :)
 
Didn’t get to the gym this morning as I had quite the night. Went to wife’s work party and I was the DD. All was well, good times and good people. Some punk who is the boyfriend of one of her coworkers sucker punched and tackled the chef for no reason (well, alcohol). I ran over and stuck him in a choke hold as I simultaneously drug his ass out of the restaurant. Literally drug him by his neck as his feet dragged. The wife may or may not have blasted him in the face a few times as this ensued lol. So police came and he got to spend the night in the county Bed and breakfast. I’m honestly glad it wasn’t me from 5 years ago that night, I did not have the self control I have now. No punches thrown even though the temptation was overwhelming. I guess I’m getting old. I like it.
 
I went to my gf’s Christmas work party last night too! It was a potluck and everyone playing games, good time. No brawling was to be had tho

Yeah it was unfortunate we had a fly in the ointment. Found out this kid is a general shat bag and is hated by everybody, including the police.

In my log book they are HGP presses. He turned me onto them. I prefer to do them on an incline.
Don't think I could get 100 lb D-bells off the rack much less use them.

I'll do it. But we have only 40kg (88lbs)-or 50kg(110lbs) DB's at my gym. I mean, I'll shoot for 2 reps with the 110's next time, that should restore the power balance between the young grasshopper and a old man. No idea how this will go, it may not even lift off.

Watched the vid again -and again. How he hoisted them up, damned. I gonna ask my training partner to place them on my chest (if he can even unrack them) and will start from the bottom, not like our grasshopper, who pressed them parallel right up (that alone is a feat in itself). Thursday -or Friday I gonna try it.

Speed at 9th set dropped so shut it down. Bands over plates extra little tension is brutal actually.

In other news, when I bought my duffalo bar on Black Friday I got a free broomstick which arrived yesterday due to being backordered. The UPS guy must love every package from kabuki . Whatever, I am helping him with gainzzzz. Did a little rolling and kneading with it, I feel this is going to be super beneficial.

It’s a godsend for the pecs. Nothing works as well to release tight pec inserts. Works nicely on the meat of the lats too from the front while you lay on your back and spread the cobra hood out.
 
A free boomstick?! Damn! What a deal...
