I know we all have different ideas of what makes a woman attractive and all, but does everyone find her so hideous? :think:

Beautiful? Maybe not. Even though beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But hideous? Not at all.

I don't think anyone ever found her hideous.

Hideous would elude to being painful to look at. I don't think that was ever the case.

She had the tendency to appear masculine. Moreso in the second pic. She doesn't look that bad in the first one.

Either way the cookie crumbles, at least she wasn't a female basketball player.
 
It's the jaw. I could never get into a woman with a strong jawline like that...literally and figuratively.

I'm taking it upon myself to attempt to institute a concept mentioned earlier in this thread. To all who have FB, I DARE you to put up a reminder today and Monday that March 14 is Steak & a BJ Day (or, S&BJ Day). Let's pass this along, get it out there, and make it a reality!!!

Currently typing a post on AM. :trout:

Been working on bike stuff most of the weekend. Only got it about half detailed but just HAD to take it out for a ride yesterday. Scared me a bit - was trying to stall on hard decel, but finally figured out the problem(s) and should have it ready to rip. A bit more final cleaning to do before this weekend's first club ride. Workin on modifying a sissybar bag right now to fit on the back of the passenger pad instead of the front like I did last year. Just got the seat pimped and don't want to hide any of it! Pic for anyone interested....

Thanks, bro! They're just ceramic coated, and a crappy job at it, too. Dang things were on all of 2 months + winter and are already starting to show surface rust. Grrrr... had this happen with the last set, got these ones free under warranty, and now company is out of business. Now it's either roll with it, header wrap 'em, sent them away to be recoated, or see if there is a high-temp powdercoat out there. I'd go with the last one if I could, just to get 'em up to gloss black like everything else I have.

I would just look for a better ceramic coating company. I don't know if powder coat can withstand the temps.

I've been recommended Jet Hot a few times as being a reputable company, just don't want to drop $200 right now to have it done. Well, not right now, but next winter - just about to get the girl out to ride for the year! Suckiest part is that I LOVE these pipes, and I show my bike. Spending $700 for a set of custom shop pipes only to see them rust is really disheartening. :(
 
There are def powder coats out there that can handle this stuff, friend of mine got his header done 2 years ago and at least the last time I saw em they still looked nice. color was like a pea**** blue.
Also seen a few valve covers and half a t-3 turbo painted and sturdy too. Don't know what kind of temps it would have to withstand tho prob 1200+

Thanks for the info, Maite. I'll definitely look into some place that can coat, if it exists. There are no heat shields on these, so they will certainly get hot! I'd much rather have them gloss black. Appearance counts in my book!

And yeah... pea****, like ****-eyed, or even *****willow trees will get blocked. :D
 
Black Nickel. Black Chrome. When done right, these look so awesome.

You could also go with a black oxide and apply a ceramic glaze.

Actually under contract to buy a townhome on a golf course. Sitting right on the fairway so no slices please! This place has a basement with an unfinished room perfect for a power rack. Going there this morning for a home inspection and termite inspection. Every. Body. WINS!!
 
Just found out my boy Neil got in the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame yesterday. Say what you will about it, Neil still gets the ladies.

I think that I'm like 1/64th Irish at best, but I could sure go to be plastered all day today. Just another in a long line of things that ain't gonna happen! Gotta work today, wife left for NYC this morning and is gone till Sunday, and I've got the kiddo all weekend. Ah... I'm gonna have to get out one of these years... :cheers:
