SilentBob's Adrenalean Induced Summer of Fun (sponsored)

Nope. But I suppose I could do one of those heavy metal detoxes/chelations in a few months if I feel it prudent.

Some site said to keep tuna intake to under 3 cans a week. :toofunny:

Well CT, not being one to completely disregard an opinion, I've come to the conclusion that I'll start including NAC into my regular supp regime. As well as being great for the liver, apparently it's one of the primary supps for mercury detox. Win/Win. Thanks CT.

No problem bro...just lookin out :)

you think AP is really that good? I used recreate and it really didn't do much for me..

Day 16: 7-13-08

Face Pulls: 15x10, 20x10, 25x10, 30x10

Narrative:
I had a lot of crap today. I ran out of food at work and had to make do with bars. UGH! On the bright side, those VPX bars are awesome, and those fruit bars were very good. By good I mean no HFCF or anything fishy like that. Oh yeah, and 42g of carbs helps preworkout to get that AP going in high gear.

Something weird happened today. I don't know if it was because I was relatively low calorie on leg day or what. But I had a hunger attack about an hour after my 2nd meal. I popped 3 more adrenalean and that only squelled it for one hour. I'm hoping my body simply wanted more fuel to recover from leg day. I'd be pissed if I've adapted to 5 Adrenalean a day

Adrenalean was good today. My shirt was soaked all the way through ;) I took my second dose after my nap and it kept me going the rest of the evening.

I missed my f*cking lift! I hate days like this!!! If I don't hit what I know I can hit (90s) I start raging hardcore. I blame cardio + sub 3000 calories on my off day. Either way, excuses only satisfy those who make them, and I'm still pissed off at myself. Anyway, not to cry over tripping over my own skirt, decided to stick with moderate weight and throw it up 8 times for 4 sets. I didn't deserve a drop set after something that lame.

Adrenalean was good to me today. I was about to crash hard at around 3:30 this afternoon and took 3 of those bad boys which kept me wide awake but not jittery for the rest of the evening.

Man, try doing a more thorough warmup. If I was going for 90s I would do something like

40x10
60x6-8
80x2
90x __

you can't expect going from 40lb dbs to 90lb dbs to have great results :) it's more than a 100% increase in weight!

log looks great

edit: now that I look at it that still might not be enough. usually for my 1st exercise I try and make the 5th set my first working set. everyone is different for sure though so i think you should experiment and figure out what works :)

i agree with lector. im using 90s for sets of 6-10 reps. i warm up with 60s for 12-15 reps, then move to 75s for 12 reps. then 90s for 3 working sets

I agree...the Log is GREAT.

As for the warming up, I concur as well. Generally when I go up to 90's, I'll do:

40'sX12
60'sX8
75'sX2-3

That usually is just about right for me, although sometimes I'll do the 80's instead of the 75's.

I hear ya'll. I was doing that steep jump primarily because I've been doing drop sets lately. Guess I wasn't warming up enough. Will be updating the workouts too I think, starting to get used to this routine.

BTW, will have log updated in about 5 minutes.

Assisted Chinups: 6(unassisted), 7(+25lb), 8(+40lb), 8(+55lb)

Narrative:
Got out of the house late today. Had to miss the 2nd half of my lift. Means that I'll be doing my triceps tomorrow with cardio. Since I'm planning on switching up my routine anyway, I'm thinking I'll just turn tomorrow in to an arm day. That way chest day is only chest day and back day is only back day. Shortens the workouts, always a good idea. Shorting the workouts to about an hour will allow me to throw some cardio, about 15-20 minutes, on the tail of my lift.

Adrenalean was good to me today. The appetite suppression really helped. My store's district manager was in the store most of the day which made it hard to leave the floor so I couldn't eat.

I still hit my calories for the day though. I'm good at this game. :)

Solid log man - diet is looking good. I kinda disagree with all the pyramiding up to your work sets though. When I'm lifting in the heavy range (3-6 reps) I'll do one, maybe two warmup sets at about 40-50% max, then do my 3-5 work sets at the weight planned (75-90% 1RM). I feel like I waste too much energy working up, and then only spending 1-2 sets at that heavy weight. Just my .02 though - we all have different methods for success.

Keep it up.

I hear ya man. I've been going at it the way you're describing, however I think that switching up my routine will help create enough confusion that the amount of weight won't matter for a while.

Narrative:
I am out of tuna. It was my day off from work and I wasn't compelled to go to the store. So yeah, I had more whey than usual. It happens. Needless to say, a little extra fat in the day really catches up with you. :)

The pork didn't have any marble or chunks of fat on it...but I'm not gonna try and say it was low fat. I know better than that. I was suprised however to find that most of the fat in pork is mono/polyunsaturated. Either way, lot of fat today. I'll just tell myself it's me getting used to the foods I'm gonna have to live with when I try going low carb.

Its not gonna kill you to have had that pork, in fact switching up and giving the body different types of carbs, proteins, fats to deal with is beneficial.

I've yet to use WMS - what are your thoughts on it. Most people seem to really love it and its low cost.....right?

Narrative:
I had a solid chest day as well as a really good back day. I'm writing all of this on friday and my pecs are still hurting! DOMS FTW!

I've had a lot of craziness the past few days which have kept me from updating the log. Wednesday night my new computer was here, so that took up a little time. Then there was work and just feeling exhausted when I got home in the evenings.

Something else that's been going on this week is that my regularity is all out of whack. I'm pretty sure it doesn't have anything to do with my fiber intake, which is regularly above 35g/day. We'll see though, I'll probably keep a closer eye on it, maybe some psyllium multiple times per day just to get things moving (pun intended.)

I will post my final review soon as well. I appologize for the intermittence of my most recent updates. I'll make it up to you all the only way I know how...

FINAL REVIEW

"Included in this log I will try to have most of my focus be on the Adrenalean in terms of craving control, energy, euphoria, and fat loss. (Yes, I'm reading these off the front of the bottle.)"

Craving Control: This first aspect of Adrenalean I felt was the most noticable. I know that I'm not the only person saying this, but Adrenalean made me forget to eat, alot. This part of the product was so effective that it was almost becoming a problem. Knowing you need to eat but not being the least bit hungry is a weird feeling. Definately a plus for people who are trying to go calorie restricted.

Energy: Adrenalean definately saved my life multiple times at work. At some points I just get super exhausted and it's nice to have a pick me up later in the day that doesn't have you bouncing off the walls. Adrenalean gave me good 'clean' energy, which I use to describe products with added euphoric blends...

Euphoria: As stated above, Adrenalean gave me 'clean' energy which leaves me feeling good.

Fat Loss: My weight remains unchanged. I started at 182lb and this morning I weighed in at 182 as well. As you can see from my pictures post though, the Adrenalean has helped me shed a little fat.

Side Effects? Most of these I feel are of my own doing and NOT Adrenalean, however I feel that to remain unbiased that I should post them as well.

I don't know if this is from the Adrenalean or what but the past week I've been a little backed up, if you catch my drift. I doubt it's from the product since it didn't occur until the final week.

Another side I've had lately has been my knees are sore as hell. I think I'll attribute this to 20 rep squats, NOT Adrenalean.

Thank you!
I would like to thank haiz69, Matt Cahill, Designer Supplements, and all of the chuckle heads that have put up with my shenanigans in this log. I'm glad that I was given the opportunity to log Adrenalean for DS and all of you.

What's Next?
No idea. I've been telling myself that I want to start a legitimate bulk soon, but I think I'll wait til it gets a little colder out.

I've also been thinking of giving creatine an attempt. It's something that I've never really cared to supplement but I suppose it's getting about that time, I'm starting to plateau a little and if a month or two of monohydrate can get me over this hump then I'll be excited.

Another thought going on in my wee mind is trying one of those anabolic diets.

Maybe I'll JFL (just f*cking lift) for awhile.

So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish.

That's why Kate got four pictures man. I get chills I tell ya, chills.

It twas a good log! I shall miss it.

I might need to get some of this. My energy and appetite go off the hook when I diet. I have one week of no diet and then 8 weeks of contest diet to get ready for the Olympia. I hate the hunger and exhaustion.
