Been wanting to get my T checked for a while; have all the symptoms of low T. Noticeable Muscle and strength loss, yet spare tire didnt budge. Same kind of workouts that worked for me up until about 2 years ago are no longer effective (mostly Wendler), and as stated, strength going the other way. Out of gas and irritable by about 3-4:00 on most days. Brain fog. Low sex drive. The works. I’m only 33, so Ive been telling myself its work stress, or wife stress or (now) 2 yr old daughter stress. Anyway, finally went to the Male Medical Group today and had blood work done. It took about 20 min and they had one of the T numbers for me, but said it would be a few days to a week to get the whole panel results back. Anyway, the T number they gave me was 60.8. Yes, 60.8. This was done via something called a “FastPack,” sound familiar?
They also gave me some other figures but didnt really explain it to me: WBC, LY, MO etc. I can try to post if yall want to see them.
Anyway, end result is they started me on Test Cyp and Vit B12 injections 1/wk and HGC 2/wk. Should they have given me all 3 Test numbers today, or will the rest be what comes back in a few days-week? Doesn’t the 60.8 number seem alarmingly low? I’d just pop back in the office tomorrow to talk now that I’ve had time to reflect, but I leave town for the weekend at 6am. I do plan to call, though.
