Shelf Life of Converted (pro)Hormones?

This may be a common question, but could anyone tell me what the average shelf life of a conversion would be?

Does a difference in the ester make a difference in shelf life?

What is the best way to prolong shelf life for injectables? I would assume that it be kept someplace relatively free of light, but at room temperature.

I'm just asking for future reference because I plan on converting 10g of 1-test cyp soon and I'm not sure if I will be using all of it in one cycle, especially if I am able to find some other bases to work with.

I have had commercial test enanthate @ 200mg/ml that lasted for 3 years at ambient temp, test cyp at the same conc, that lasted 2.5 years in ref. Also had converted stuff like 19-nor cyp, 4-ad ace, 5-ad ace, 1-test cyp, tren ace, etc. that have lasted over a year just at ambient temps in light free environments. Just make it perfect, by the books, and it should last very long. Errors magnify w/ time, so do not cut corners in the prep. Add 5% Vit.E ace or 0.1% BHT to the prep and even inferior oils will not turn rancid upon prolonged storage. All 4-ene-3-one steroids are light sensitive, so just stash it while not in use, or wrap some aluminum foil around the vials for good light protection.

Good info on extending product shelf life. Vit E ace is pretty easy to grab in powder form (from life extension sites) if you wanted to brew up a couple cycles at once and be sure they would store over time.

GM, I've never tried the powder, but the USP liquid works great. I'd be careful w/ powder, it's cut w/ something because pure VEA is a heavy, oily liquid. You can find it everywhere too, at the local health food store, internet, I've even seen little 2oz bottles at the grocery store. Also, the stuff I listed in the previous post has worked, but if I had to guess, I'd say it'll probably be good for years to come plus how many year old they are right now already. I make 3 or 4 batches at a time for a years supply all at once. It's better to make a mess all at once than 3 or 4 messes at different times! :D

Thanks for the heads up:thumbsup:
Big batches are always a little more fun anyways, good gripping exercise too:rant:;)...
