This idea sprang up from stuff in the new flavor thread.
How about a new line of powders that aren't sweet: a seasoning line of protein powder.
The first powder would obviously be cheese flavored. But you could add other ones after that. Spices, curries, bacon flavored, etc. The purpose behind it is because your Whey protein has a ton of protein with virtually no other macros. Thus this would be a fantastic way for dieters to season their food without violating their diet.
Plus it'd be fantastic for seasoning bulking food as well because it allows them to add yet MORE protein to their diet and gives them an alternative instead of fat.
Personally I think the protein shake market is probably limited. I know a lot of people that simply don't like shakes but don't mind adding protein powder to food as long as it doesn't interfere or better yet enhances the food's flavor. By coming out with a tasty line of "seasoning whey" you'd widen your market AND provide and invaluable service to us bodybuilding types.
Anyway, just thought I'd throw the idea out there. I hope you guys consider it. I know I and a host of others would KILL for a good cheese flavored powder to add to our food. I mean think about the potential here...
add skim milk to the cheese powder and pour on whole wheat pasta for HEALTHY mac and cheese.
Add to grits to put protein in the grits and add a delicious cheesy flavor.
Put it on your chicken or even add to skim milk and pour over chicken for cheesy chicken dishes that have little to no fat and very low carbs too! Heck, put it on just about any meat you would otherwise add cheese to!
The number 1 most difficult thing dieters have giving up is cheese. By having the optino to use cheese flavored Whey Protein, they don't have to be tempted by cheese anymore, they can stay on their diet AND continue to enjoy the flavor of cheese.
So, please, consider this concept. You'll have hundreds of willing testers right here on the board to help you perfect each flavor.
