Select White Chocolate Mint (limited edition) Reviews

Spices can be added to any existing diet I think, I don't add any calories with my seasonings, if I do they are negligible (<5cals)

I'm lucky enough to love spicy foods though, I can season anything to my liking ;)

Same here. I can eat the same healthy food sources for months (menu differs based on training or not and I have cheat meals), but not a single meal is bland, and they taste delicious and different daily. Learning how to season food and using some low calorie condiments can go a very long way.

The spicier the better.

Yessssss. All the spice. More more more ha.

And yes to spices for every meal. My go to thing to buy when I travel and have to eat with just a hotel microwave (which is almost every week) is some form of pre cooked chicken, misc veggies I can microwave, a baby bottle of Valentina and a different spice blend each night.

Sounds like a good plan to me.

Mrs Dash extra spicy is an easy go-to for me,
And red pepper flakes typically,
And either hot sauce or hot peppers included

Merry Xmas to me.

I'm definitely down to start adding some more spice in my life, literally. This is the next step.

Tony Chachere's Creole seasoning. Good on any meat, eggs, veggies, potatoes... Favorite thing ever. They also have an extra hot kind.

How is the sodium in that seasoning, where can I purchase it from. I am in NYC

I don't remember sorry... But I get mine at Walmart so I would assume you can probably find it pretty easily!

Okay thank you , I will check out Walmart, I appreciate the response; ) -Brooklyn Fitness Latina

Walmart for sure. The hot version can be harder to find but the regular and creole are both awesome anyways. And it's usually dirt cheap

As a lions fan I took my wife to her first 49er game today. She is a die hard 9er fan. We whooped that a$$ so now I have to give her a tub of my WCM to stay out the doghouse! Lmao

Bros,

I remember the days when you were afraid to bake... My how the years have changed you ;)

It's really good and works, you must live out of the USA

Yah i've got a bunch of PES protein (pb choc/gourmet van/snikerdoodle) products already from BB.com. When ordering to Canada for the protein is ridiculous. Settled on 10 Forksholin 95/ 2 Alphamine / 1 Tank top / 1 Shirt (black friday insider).... shipped cheaper than one 2lb tub of protein. Being up in Canada has advantages and disadvantages. But online shopping is **** compared to you guys in the US. Everything seems like a deal until the shipping costs come in to play.

Wow, horrible and Canada is only a few hours from Seattle. Unreal sorry to hear that. You guys don't have any supplement stores by you.

Yes we do but non of the them carry PES and I'm a picky supp whore....Only the best.;)

Thank you for the support brother,
Great purchases too, smart man.
You are added to my list of people to inform as soon as we get any improved availability, or shipping options to Canada. (This is being worked on, keeping my fingers crossed)

Can I ask what general area?
I'm in London, ON

Yeah supp selection and pricing in Canada is extremely bad.

Haha, I am still afraid.

That is why I stick with the small number of recipes I actually know how to make.

At this point I am a cheesecake wizard. ;)

Everyone should try them

What are the macros for the average cheesecake you make? Also what is your highest protein/lowest sugar cheesecake you make that still tastes great? You are inspiring me to perhaps start cooking with protein more. For now I've progressed to making hot cereal mixed in with protein. Baby steps.

Average crustless cheesecake is under 140 cals a slice with 15+g protein.
Zero added sugar (use a sweetener and it comes out just fine)

Ask anyone who has made/eaten a high protein cheesecake, the thing is damn filling lol.

Wheytobake.com has at least 5/6 cheesecakes uploaded now if you want to peak, or request any of mine you have seen shared

You truly are king of kings thank you. I was also ignorant of how healthy these treats can be, I thought they were just protein-packed junk, because they look so damn good, which is another reason why I never looked into recipes. 15g protein a slice, with no added sugar? oooooo weeeeeeeeeeee

I kept baking through some deep cutting phases, so I have decent macro ranges available.

+ being able to eat dessert while dieting without the guilt keeps me sane

I can so feel you on the non guilt dessert while dieting part. When I get on my serious cut kick the Select treats are what keep me from breaking!

Here is my initial review

Got my CM order today finally. Thanks FedEx. Anyways, decided to crack open the new protein!

AntM Reviews PES Select White Chocolate Peppermint

This is just a taste review since Select is my go to protein.

Overall - When I first opened the tub, I had to give it a smell. There was zero peppermint in the smell test. It was just like a vanilla. Good, but plain. I first tried it in oatmeal. Instantly, as soon as the powder hit the oatmeal, prior to me even mixing it, the peppermint aroma came out. I've had the scent of powders slightly intensify before, but not like this. I thought it was the heat that brought out the peppermint, but when I mixed it in the Greek yogurt, the same thing happened. The powder literally goes from not giving a hint of peppermint to smelling like a peppermint patty.

In oatmeal, there was more of a white chocolate taste than peppermint. The peppermint was there, but was very subtle. This could have been because of the heat or because I had three servings of oatmeal to one serving of protein powder. In the Greek yogurt, the peppermint flavor really came through. It was like a York Peppermint Patty, but without the milk chocolate. Instead, a sweeter white chocolate. I do not drink shakes often. I would safety say if you do have shakes, you could expect the same experience I had with the Greek yogurt, a strong Peppermint taste.

With that in mind, I really enjoy it. If you are not the biggest fan of peppermint, I would not purchase this. If you do like peppermint, I would try and find this and purchase it or trade for it if you can. It is a nice change of pace from your normal flavors. I'm curious to see if heat brings out more of the white chocolate and makes the peppermint less subtle. Overall, very good, but no surprise there. Here are my rankings, keep in mind, I have never had Cookies and Cream.

1. CPBC
2. Vanilla
3a. Snickerdoodle
3b. WCP
4. Blondie
5. MC

I put 3a and 3b because SD is better for baking, which I normally do with my protein, but I like WCP in the Greek yogurt better than SD in Greek yogurt. Both are good depending how you use it.

My flavour rankings are pretty similar to yours except I have CnC in place of snickerdoodle.

My white chocolate mint should be turning up any day now so I will see where it slots in. :)

Oh man, can't wait for you to get your hands on WCM! Are you fond of mint flavors Ben?

I'm through a tub now :)
I'm so pleasantly surprised with how much I am enjoying it.

FYI, in a shake, 50/50 with milk chocolate.

Its rich and heavenly.

Just discovered the best way to have a shake with WCM... Heat it up! It's like peppermint hot chocolate. Perfect winter drink!

Holy crap! I can't believe this hasn't been done yet from what I've seen. Sounds incredible bro nice find and share here.

For real! Just my luck I used the last of my milk for my shake a while ago!

Ouch, that's never a good situation...
I have found that I enjoy Select in water almost just as much as in milk. I usually can't stand protein mixed in water and only do it when I have to. With select I don't mind.
