Yep, I'm giving up ALL social media for Lent. Even all the different forums I visit. Trying to convince the wife to do the same. We have a 5 & 3 year old, & I think they're seeing us w/ our faces in our phones too much.

I'll be here today & tomorrow, but after that, gone till Easter. Anybody else out there giving anything up?
 
Though I don't believe in it..that's still very respectable. Phones/Cable/Facebook ect really does consume everybody's life now. I'm contemplating canceling cable and discussing with my wife to put our cell phones down while we are home together, especially when our boy is around. Although it's cute my 1 year old knows to hold the phone to his ear..it's unnecessary.

Yeah, both of my kids have way too many games on our phones. My girl was scrolling through pictures on our phones before she even hit 2!!!

Admirable. More people need to do this IMO.
 
Yeah, I usually give up alcohol for Lent, but that's gotten too easy. I think this will be easy too, but I think it'll benefit my children more. :D
 
I'm giving up alcohol. I like to drink my occasional beers so that's gonna be hard to give up
 
I made it through Lent with no contact with the outer world!! It's good to be back. I have to admit though, it was kinda nice not worrying about keeping up with my phone.
