Secret to no cramps on TTA...

Could it be Glycerol??

As I said on a previous thread, I had missed a day of TTA and did not start having cramps until that day. It just also happens that I missed Thunder that day as well...

Now when I got back on schedule the next day, nothing was making the cramps go away: potassium, calcium, Gatorade; nothing. I then started the Thunder against and cramps were gone within a few hours. It is now about 5 days later and I have since upped the dose of TTA to around 10 grams just for giggles...I have continued the Thunder with glycerol and no cramps at all.

This also might explain why I am holding more water than most. Maybe the GMS is keeping me super hydrated for a lack of a better term.

Any thoughts??

Its kinda funny because until just recently I was working 14+ hour days and had no time what so ever to toy aroud with anything...not so good when you cannot even comment on first hand knowledge of your own stuff.

Sweet jesus I damn near choked and snotted all over myself at the same time reading that. Funniest damn post I've read in a long time.

Thank you.

Kevin.

oh wide guy.. where have you been lol :stick:

and just incase you didn't know... we landed on the moon!

jk.. look around the CNW threads for TTA, in short it is the active of Melting Point

how are you sure it is the glycerol, it seems like more than one ingredient in thunder could be the possible answer. Have you tried just using Glycerol?

i personally take thunder along with TTA and for me.. it doesn't help.. however when i add K it does a very good job as well as even cuts down the amount of water i am holding... so it seems...

Yeah sure enough about 3-4 minutes after I posted that I started to browse on cnw site and there it was. It's relatively new? I haven't seen much about it, maybe I just spaced out on it. THanks.

Its newer yes.. it is a most interesting fatty acid... it will help in reducing fat but most people ( including myself) bloat and gain weight while taking TTA.. though you will see results while taking.. the time after you stop taking tta and said water leaves your body will be when you notice them more so...

also attached to the sides is horrible cramping... they can get so bad that you cant do anything but stay in bed...

gylcerol helps with cramping etc. issues with a number of different products. Overall, its just a good cell-volumizer/hydrator.
Its one of the best things for helping with the sides from DNP. Animal had started recommending it for that purpose awhile ago.

snotting all over youself is about the funniest thing I read all week.lol

My god. The bloating!

I am/was dieting. Last friday I weighed in at 258.5lbs. This past Friday I weighed in at 273lbs.

Granted, my food intake wasn't the absolute best but relatively speaking and knowing my body, I should NOT have been holding 15+lbs of water and most of it seems lodged right in my gut. Very uncomfortable feeling :(

I had run out of MP on the Sunday and Monday switched to bulk TTA. I guess, after wighing the caps, it was about 5 grams/day I was taking. Oddly enough, no cramping yet on MP... I'd cramp on 8 caps if I didn't stock u on Mag and Potassium.

I've ceased the TTA to see if it truly was JUST water. Like I said, food intake wasn't the absolutely greatest but 1) no way in hell my food accounting for 15lbs of weight and 2) no way my carb intake accounted for 15lbs of weight. Just doesn't seem possible.

its water.. you'll see.. give it a good week or so and you will be shocked... but take pictures for your own review to enhance the shockingness

I know its water but MP was nothing like this.

Seriously, I feel like I had NO bloating at all from MP and for the past two weeks on MP I was up to 10 caps/day. Cramping only came when I didn't take precautions.

Hard to beleive there is THAT big of a difference, you know?

i agree.. but at the same time.. the only thing i can say is that MAYBE the TTA is not measuring out correctly... meanings that 1/4 tsp is actually more than 550mg... i have done it myself and it comes out about that each time.. but maybe maybe maybe it is stronger.. who knows...

I'm pretty certain it's a function of how long you took TTA, and what supplements you ran while taking it. If you went for a month or more with no cramps, it may take several days for the cramping to go away. Many factors are at play here. There is no simple answer that is correct for everybody. Without proper supplementation, you can get hit hard, within the first two weeks of taking TTA. Calf cramps can be nasty, but the "DOMS from hell" are a real bitch, especially in the legs, and back.

I never really cramped up, but I was drinking a pedialyte knockoff, about 1liter every 2 days. The DOMS really wasn´t an issue, and my strength seemed unphased.

I felt cramps coming on a few times, at which point I just ramped down the dose from 9 to 6 or 7. I also only ran it for about 15 days. I´ll definitely be using it again.

Extreme bloat and extreme cramps...not much else.

I think at that dose, all it is doing is wreaking havoc on your body. If I ever touch the stuff again, dosing will be extremely moderate in comparision.

I don't really have cramps untill I lift weights, then my arms are killing me, I can't do more than few sets.
