You may have consumed too many nitrates.
nah bro no such thing, only from RX
You may have consumed too many nitrates.
Sorry guys
I should just stick with what I know more about lol anabolics have always been my strong point

Ok. Here are two studies showing that nitrate supplementation benefits resistance exercise (weight lifting) performance:So now I'm confused everything I read online ncbi and examine ect are all contradicting **** it if it works for you take it
Invalid Link RemovedThe results showed a significant difference in repetitions to failure (p < 0.001) and total weight lifted (p < 0.001).
This study demonstrates that nitrate supplementation has the potential to improve resistance training performance and work output compared to a placebo.
Ok. Here are two studies showing that nitrate supplementation benefits resistance exercise (weight lifting) performance:
Study 1: 1.5g CrN (500mg nitrates) or 3g CrN (1000mg nitrates), or 3g creatine monohydrate.
Plasma nitrates increased with both CrN doses, but not placebo or creatine monohydrate (CM).
After 28 days, all groups (CrN-high, CrN-low, CM, placebo) noticed increased bench press volume, but only CrN-high was significantly greater than placebo (CM was not).

Study 2: 400mg nitrates from beetroot juice

However, in the first study referenced above, even 1g nitrates did not significantly reduce blood pressure, while elsewhere, 1400mg nitrates did. With that in mind, you can get ergogenic benefits from nitrates at a dose of 400-1000mg without significantly reducing blood pressure. High enough nitrate supplementation will reduce blood prssure. I don't recommend super-dosing nitrates pre-workout. I'd stick to 400-1000mg nitrates.
It's all good man. At the end of the day, you came around, learned something new, and admitted your mistake. That's more than a lot of people would do.Yea man I'm super sorry bout this bro but that's why I roam this section for supplement knowledge I wasn't trying to be a troll

a salt or ester of nitric acid, containing the anion NO3−*or the group —NO3unless your Creatine somehow has prescribed nitric acid in it it isn't a nitrate I rest my case

Would that work with something like yohimbine that requires such a low dose? Creatine nitrate is only 33% nitrate, potassium nitrate is 60% nitrate, even if yohimbine nitrate was 90% nitrate, to get 400mg nitrates you'd also be taking 44mg yohimbine. I would not recommend that. I could be wrong about how it's done though.Just found a site for nitric acid now I'm kinda wondering if I took it and some how combined it to yohimbine making yohimbine nitrate wouldn't that be sick

Buy it and I'll send you a free bottle once you receive it..
Hi!
please review the message i sent you .Perhaps you did not receive a notification for it. Thank you very much!
I received and responded to all three...
Are you talking about this thread, hahaReading that was the best 15 minutes of my day....
Are you talking about this thread, haha
Haha yeah... I responded with the noxygen and Max reps suggestions in during one of my class breaks and my notifications blew up
So much face palming
i started this post to get some advice on pre workout pump supplement.. I was amazed at the technical arguments that ensued ahead about nitrates etc. I would consider myself a smart person - bachelors degree in mechanical engineering and masters degree in aerospace engineering along with engineering entrepreneurship certificate recent graduate. However, i found myself scratching my head and feeling lost and dumb reading the first few posts of the debate that ensued that i gave up soon after:notworthy:
Max Reps should yield about 540mg nitrates, and 2 caps Hydro another 90mg. That's 630mg together. It's not too much, as in not safe (up to 1000mg nitrates has been shown to be safe), but it's not necessary either, as the 540mg is a good dose, plus all of the other pump ingredients.alright guys , so i have ordered maxx reps and hydro3 . I am not much aware of the skills of stacking and safe dosage and stuff as i am new to this so i was thinking of taking 1 scoop of max reps , and maybe 2 pills of hydro3 . Will it be too much nitrates for my body to handle (135lbs 5'6) so as to be unsafe?
also i dont know why but glycerol has been imprinted on my mind as a pump product lol. I would take max reps and then hydro3 which has glyerol(500mg for 2 caps) but i am worried since hydro3 has nitrates as well , will it be too much nitrates?
or would it be ] wise to order only glycerol (is there any good glycerol hydromax only product? ) and add it to max reps( so basically max reps+glycerol) and maybe finish hydro 3 sometime later or using hydro3 one time and max reps another time just for change?
will the glycerol make a lot of difference to how much pump i get? like is it like just an icing on the cake or would you call it a component of the cake?
Individual ingredients may affect you differently, both in terms of physiological response and mental preference. I personally prefer the pump I get from nitrates and NO precursors like L-Cit. Others absolutely love GMS (hydromax).
If I were you I'd start with one serving of one product instead of mixing them*. I say this because 1. At your size, one serving will be sufficient, and 2. This way you can better determine which gives you your preferred level/type of pump. After a couple workouts testing each product individually, then feel free to mix and match.
*When I say one serving in regards to Hydro3, I'm referring to 6-8 caps
i will do that .That makes much sense . However , on the bottle of hydro3 ,it says do not take 6+ caps in a 24 hour period ?
also if i open the capsule and pour its content into my cup of coffee before working out, will the effect be same?
I'm sure Olympus Labs is just covering their bases by recommending one not exceed what is already a very safe dose. You do want to be careful with nitrates so as not to lower your blood pressure to hypotensive ranges. That said, if you're healthy and not taking any medications that already lower BP, you'll be fine with 450-600mg of kno3. You won't get much of a pump with 500mg hydromax and 150mg kno3, so I'd go for at least 4 caps if you want to play it really safe. From there you can work your way up to 6 caps which is where you'll really start to see the product shine, imho.
Yes, you'll be fine pouring it into your coffee. It may slightly alter the taste if you take it black.
Well in my family , hypertension is widely present. So though my blood pressure is normal , its usually on the higher side of normal range. I would guess nitrates will lower it and that would be beneficial maybe? Anyways i dont want to do any thing unsafe so i would probably do the max of 4 caps a day.
Just a question out of curiosity- will the ingredients in max reps and hydro 3 affect a drug test? Drug test for work that is.
awesome!
at the beginning of this thread, i did express my disappoint over the fact that max reps did not have glycerol and somehow i had glycerol stuck in my mind as a useful pump product. I have hydro 3 yes.
however ,i can across this product -https://truenutrition.com/p-7254-hydromax-powder-100-grams.aspx
its glycerol and cheap as well ,7 dollars plus shipping.
Can i add this to max reps to get the complete 'pump' profile i desire if i may call it that way? its also way cheaper than glycergrow i think.
awesome!

I would imagine you should be fine to. It's just glycerol, hope you don't get the runs though
You could and you might like it. I buy the same stuff and have tried it up to 10g. I find that 5g works just as well, so that is my go-to dose.
With 5g of hydromax, muscle is and feels much denser than it is, improving strength due to leverage on push movements. With 400mg+ of nitrates, muscle looks much bigger than it is and pump is from the burning type. However, I build a tolerance to nitrates for pumps very quickly and rarely use them. With glycerol though, pump is always there and there is little variation in how dense it is.
whats the runs?
where do you get the nitrates from? From another product? because hydromax is just glycerol and independent of nitrates right? sorry i dont know a lot about all this so trying to learn.
I think machinehead is just comparing Hydromax to nitrates.
You'll be fine adding Hydromax to Maxreps. Should make for a very effective, well-rounded pump product.
awesome!

blah lets see what this does.
! My hands felt like they were about to explode! I cant even imagine what 4 caps will do! Insane
pump!
