Sean's Powerlifting Journey

Didn't have time to open the package :( I'll check them out tonight. I broke skin today so I'll have to wait a couple days to play around with wrapping.

I emailed him asking where it's at and got "I'm literally sending it out as we speak" It was sent out as 2-day delivery. I was driving around my neighborhood trying to find the postman before I went into the gym lol

If i went driving for my INZER i'd end up in Canada.
 
Initial thoughts:

-These will hurt -It's a cast wrap. Similar thickness to metal silver but much much much more stiff -Self wrapable -Not for narrow stance whatsoever

They're definitely a wide stance squat as they make a hell of a cast and you're right about the pain. Those bastards hurt.

I just now did one turn around and instanly knew that these are going to suck.

I'm quite excited to try them next week. Hoping this baby waits to come during my deload so I can squat once more.
 
Thanks boys. Gunnin' for 615x2 next week. Deadlift day is Monday but I might Squat & Deadlift just so I can get my sessions in before the baby comes.

Thanks, man. Once the baby is here and I'm on leave, I'll be lifting late at night. Once I go back standing duty, there will be family helping so I can lift at work and also my days off. Eventually he'll be in daycare as well so my days off will be how they are now. Wife wants me to do this meet still. My training is going to drop to 3x/week anyways.

Ya I know the guy who mainly promotes Mas in the states, Clay Edgin, him and Odd Haugen.

My friend won Mas wrestling at the Arnold this last weekend. Her handshake will bring you to your knees. She said highland games is NASGA but I never heard about where to go for Mas.
 
That's awesome the wife is supporting your meet still with all the stuff she's going through. You knew there was a reason you married her :)

315 had momentum behind it. 275 wasn't too bro-ish. Cuffs on biceps were fairly tight after all the curls. Definetly helped though.

Definitely NAstrongman as already mentioned.


Or come down to Texas and compete in the Texas Strength League lol (they give out sweet trophies too).

There's another div now to, US Strongman I think. IIRC they do more up in your area.

I'll check out US Strongman now.

And I'd rather be down in that area than ****ing up here. Two more years..
