You shiukd probably go to the doctors to get an mri ASAP. I don't think a chiro wil be much help for this one, or an active release therapist. If it only hurts when you squat down, I'd have to think that it's not real serious sense everything else doesn't bother it.

Edit: goodluck, and no dead lifting will ruin a mans Xmas, not squats
 
Rodja and jimbuick have had bad knees I believe. Maybe even napalm ?

I have no idea dude. Ive gotten knee pain from a bad wrap or just aches, but nothing like that. I'm sure you're looking up SuperD stuff already.

Not like that for me, mine occasionally buckles and hurts like a son of a bitch (just gives out while walking, which is alwaus a good time).


I'd listen to old man Napalm or Rodja on this one.

I thought the 100's would be too light, as that's the biggest we had. Then after the first trip, I realized that it was a completely smooth grip, and that sucked.

I used a single cable handle for the light band to do the Pallof press. Very successful.
 
Wtf do you mean maybe napalm, of course napalm has had knee surgery - 4 of them.

This has a meniscus sound to it. If it were ACL, you would have heard 1 pop and that would be it. aceroni, lie on your back with your leg elevated and have someone try to move the lower leg up and down in a short motion. Of there is obvious play, it'd be ACL.

Probably not ACL, but meniscus. There's no test that I can remember for meniscus other than an MRI. Get it checked brother, good luck.

Edit: support the lower leg at the posterior ankle and calf when checking for play at the joint. When lying on the back, flex the hip so the knee is pointing up. Then just grab the lower leg and try to move it up and down...
I was laying on my back my girl was moving my calf up and down as to flex my quad and on the medial lower side of the knee cap I felt some popping

Scal e of 1-10, what level of pain while walking and while doing a BW squat?

Walking is minimal, if any pain at all. Felt a little stiffness earlier today but nothing extreme.

other than tight hips, no pain during BW squats. Just than little sliding /click under the knee.

So I'd say a 0-1.
 
I have Rheband warm pants (shorts). Just find the site that has em cheapest. EFS sells some too for a decent price if I remember

Family time. I may get to the gym Thursday or Friday so I'll figure out what I'll do then, probably some upper stuff. I'm not making concrete plans.

Pull 600?? No way, man. I want that bad but I know there's a difference between my squat and deadlift. I'm gonna be one of the ****ed up lifters that will always out squat my pull.

You could make it worse and wear more gear, lol.

Nice. Glad to hear mobility increased. Hope inflammation starts to subside, and pain abates therewith.

Might be a bit rough today...my legs feel like they were hit by a train after smashing a PR on squats yesterday and hitting up some serious volume. :eek:

Dude I feel bad that I have to do that today. I hate AM lifting, especally deads. This is gona suck. And you dead right after you squat?!
 
Morning lifting sucks.

Much rather have a 12 pm workout , than 8 am.

I squat three days per week...

Technically today I am deadlifting before I squat (conventional deadlifts with belt then front squats later in the workout). :)

Well jeez. I mean if you count Front I do 2x now too, thought about 3x a week but the day before is just a killer haha. I would do same day if I was doing 3x a week. Yikes.

Sumo 1RM test following 9 Week Cube Kingpin Cycle

Previous sumo deadlift max was 495 in training in early fall I believe, and 485 in a meet (October). 535 was a previous failed lift at that meet. I pulled 535 with a troubled lockout from 2" blocks a couple weeks ago.

I realize I would have red lighted that lift for dropping the weight but I got it up and that's all I care about now at this point. Was too excited and wanted to throw the barbell across the room.
