Mobility WOD Night. Hip flexors are pretty nasty right now.

Lacrosse ball mash calves, ankle, bottom foot, glutes, 2 target points on the hip flexor, thoracic spine with overhead shoulder flexion. Just hit the spots and kept moving.

Hip flossing with the average band. Pullaparts. doubled mini spider walks. Hip flexor stretch against the wall.

Took about 15 minutes.

Ordered 3 bottles of PeakBeta+ and Enhanced. Booyah.
 
Rearming the arsenal! I gotta do the same thing here pretty soon.
 
What is this peak beta of which you speak. I have nothing stock piled except leucine and creatine. Then pwo and protein. And my last reserves of alcar and slinshot. I need some more pills in my life.

I wish I had it the last few weeks. Woulda helped with endurance during the workouts and mildly restricted diet. I notice a huge difference in work capacity from it.

Edit: Woo. Got me an experienced knee wrapper and cue caller for the meet

hahaha nothing was tight with the lacrosse ball so that was all done very quickly.

I've also begun using the rumble roller the KStarr way. Side to side, slow, murderous movement on the hip flexors. Definetly loosened up.
 
The way that he shows to mash the obliques and upper back with the rumble roller is awesome.

What are you're guys' favorite ergogenic aids?

So far for me: COP, Creatine, CitMal. The only appropriately dosed BetaAl product I've taken has been Green Mag. What else?

Outside of ergo aids, has anyone tried Antaeus Labs Demiurge? Pheynyloiracetam

Bcaa's, manipulation of mTor pathway.

Arachidonic Acid, personal use has shown it as an excellent compound for any purpose.

Forgot about Nitrates. BCAAs given. As badly as I want to try ArA, based on the incredible reviews, my one week run of it left my knees and shoulders absolutely killing me.
 
I'm liking caffeine, intraworkout carbs, pre and intra BCAAs (I go thru BCAAs like shyt through a goose), and of course creatine mono. Beta alanine I've only had in preworkouts, and many pre's without beta alanine have served me better than most standard issue pre's. Other than that, I've been too turned off of supps by my years of being fleeced at GNC so I'm not exactly the man to talk to.

Yeah besides the increased acute pain its really great stuff. Its been years since my last use but its pretty incredible, especially when stacked. I would run a joint formula two weeks prior as a precaution...

Some guy was telling me that for luecine to be effective, he needs to be with his other 2 BCAA partners
I guess that where the common BCAA ratios originate, but according to Layne Norton in his doctorate research Leucine alone is the principle peptide chain that is most responsible for proper utilization of protein. To the point where the type of protein doesnt even matter as long as proper Leucine supplementation is adhered to...

It all changed when I worked there for 8 months last year. I thought, "This is going to be awesome! I'm going to get to help young guys just like myself!" and it turned out to be all about hitting my sales numbers or making commission money. I didn't get to actually match up products to fit peoples' needs, I did it to meet my needs. That was horrifying to go through.

Ouch. Retail, been there done that.

One of the biggest problems I have with many otc supps is the lack of real research either supporting a products claim or/and the lack of research done on drug interactions. Take for example my pct protocol right now: Im on clomid, nolva, exemestane, usplabs test powder, among other things and Ive had worst time with an increase in histamine production causing congestion and breathing problems at night. I have no idea what compound Im taking that is causing this but unfortunately I just have to push through for another 2 weeks before I come off the serms and AI. Diphenhydramine nor prescription antihistamines are working. Fck it....

That's great, Sean! Some days I don't want to get under the bar but the thought of proving mutherefffrs wrong pushes me through! Keep pushing!
