Ive dabbled in the thought of Westside. I ran the Cube Method for 18 weeks, 5/3/1 before that. My squat is close to my 600 goal and I needed to get back to the basics for my bench, hence why I'm on 5/3/1 again. I made zero gains the entire time on the Cube with my bench press, whereas 5/3/1 I did.
Though it's a much more simplified, newer version that I'm doing now. 5x5(75%), 5x3(85), 5x1(95)...I incorporate dynamic/repetition work how I see fit, along with singles/blocks/deficits/bands/supplementsl lifts/ect
