I was fueled by burritos, PF changs, pizza, wings, X-Gels and PeakBeta+. I had plenty of energy to use and I did. I didn't intended to go heavy with the CG but it felt right. Granted I had the Ram on, but I took all momentum out of the bar on my chest to avoid any bounce.

Hit up those Catback pulldowns. I just sat down on a bench far enough out to get the band tension I wanted. Got a nice big stretch out of it.

The catbacks were good. Just have to find a good angle....and also a spot where it doesn't chafe on a bolt (not shown in pic obviously)...I wore my band out pretty good for the first 2 sets.

I'm gonna give those catbacks a try as well. They look pretty similar to stretchers, but with a band.

I swear me and my WO partner are the only people in the world that don't respond to enhanced. I took 2 scoops and felt next to nothing. Weird.

Warmup 5 minut jog
8x100yd sprints, 30" in between
Few minutes LISS on the bike until dinner is served

Will spend a few minutes on the inversion table and doing some mobility work before bed.

PT tomorrow morning. DE Deadlift in the afternoon.
 
The Cat Backs were great man. I could get a better contraction with the band compared to Stretchers. Thanks for the link.

Good workout. Knee started bugging me with the squats though. That, and it was a ****ing sauna in there today. It felt like I was suffocating from the humidity during the squats. I'm bringing a fan on Friday. I'm gonna leave the Texas Powerbar to ME days...my hands are tore up

That video is great. But for some reason, the version I watched the first time didn't have the part about how he got that device. It just began with him tied up with his friend in the room (~3 minute mark here).

Those deficit SLDLs look crazy. Your squat depth amazes me too.
 
Day 2 as well. I am running them 1.5g at the moment (will probably go to 2g) along with 2g LCLT and 9g GMS. I had killer pumps yesterday and today but I think that is attributed to the GMS at the moment. I honestly don't know what to expect out of X-Gels but everyone is raving about them so I said **** it lemme try em.

I do have to say the GMS is definitely a nice addition but at the same time it's giving me horrendous calf pumps and preventing me from running lol. But pfffft running, who does that anyways?

I think I'll pick up some GMS tomorrow actually.

Its for sure worth it, I use to swear by Agmatine for pumps but GMS is doing it right now. I had a back day yesterday and I felt pumps in my back in areas I didn't even knew existed lol.

Don't underestimate the combo. ARA gives some sick pumps in its own right.

I'm just waiting to see how the DOMs is for you guys...basically to gauge how much of a ***** I am lol

Well usually my DOMs are bad on day 3, I did back yesterday and it hurts today so I can't imagine how I will feel tomorrow lol.

Once I got to like week 2 or three I was sore all the time when I used it. I want to again even though that part wasn't fun.

If you guys get some down time and can find William llwellin's books "anabolics" and "sports supplement guide" on scribd he has very interesting stuff on ARA. Anabolics is a great book all around(even as a non-anabolics guy).
 
You dislike snatch grip DL Sean? I was thinking about doing deficits soon as an assistance or variant to my main lift. But I don't know if the platforms at my gym would be good for it. Maybe bring in some 2x4 or something from home?

I always snatch grip but have been working more with an alternate grip so I can actually pull with it if/when I do decide to do a PL event.t buddies younger brother started doing them I guess and he's got in pretty decent shape. He's got a good bench but his pull isn't up where mine is. I really need my bench up about 50 pounds... Lol.

And training looks great man. A good ways through the cube and I love it. It really jives with my own thoughts a lot but I love hearing things from his perspective too and a lot of things from the competition and been there done it all learn from my mistakes kinda stuff I would never know or think of otherwise.

When's the next meet? I have been gaining weight like nuts lately and I'm on the upper side of 180 now. I thought about trying to lift at 181 but I would rather have tougher comp and be able to eat more and go for 198. I think I would work harder then too. As Brandon says I gotta eat like a beast to become a beast right? No time for tryin to cut down (in my case, I'm already pretty lean) just keep my BF and gain muscle. I'd be happy at a solid 200 walking around. I've been there before, just a little sloppier than I am now after a anything goes bulk. Your headed to 198 eventually, right?

I say bulk up dude. I'm dropping to 198 because I think it'd be cool to say I have a 600+ squat under 200. I think I'll be a big 198. That and it'll make weigh ins at work easier for me. Aftery next meet in September I want to compete raw again at 220, but at a bigger leaner 220.

I wouldn't go with more than a 2 inch deficit for normal deadlifts. It'll be hard to keep the hips down. Even standing on another 45lb plate works too

Sean, if you are looking at getting GMS, check out the IForce Conquer stack. You get the preworkout and Hemavol(GMS) plus other goodies for a great price. Not sure if it is still avail though.
