Brandon Lilly & Mark Bell on the Explosive days

I love his video of deadlifting with dan green. Freaking hilarious on the hair and hat comments.
Yes. RE is basically what bodybuilders often use.Awesome video. I would have liked him to differentiate the DE and RE though; like is it the rep range that is key difference?

I don't have the book and am not doing cube but it is interesting for sure.

Not me bro. I'm usmc. IRR ...
Sean, as an experienced powerlifter what style deadlift do you recommend for the 531 + BBB that I'm starting? Leaning towards sumo but I have no experience with then at all. Maybe sumo for the 531 and Romanian for the BBB? Thanks for the input
explosive squats done
should I suit up straps down do some SSB? or maintain will power and wait till next week
I totally agree with Lilly's thinking on the speed reps. They should be explosive "singles" and not just firing out reps. Reset, go thru the eccentric and pause, then explode thru the concentric. Great vid.
Stick with what ya know. Some people are built for sumo, some aren't. I'm conventional and stick that way. Rodja or Toro may be able to elaborate more
I have some pretty awesome hip mobility. Will probably train for sumo. Gonna hit up rodja...
went straps down for a SSB set. I had it hiked up a bit too high on my thigh it felt
bruises are present lol
Depends on if he's the type to spread his legs for just any man.Stick with what ya know. Some people are built for sumo, some aren't. I'm conventional and stick that way. Rodja or Toro may be able to elaborate more
<----going for 92.5 % narrow stance today.
Just want to see where I'm at w narrow stance...

I'll post it, this is as far as I'm going. If I get this w decent bar speed, I'll go into nats w some confidence narrow stance

I'd train conventional for all sets, when you become stronger and more experienced, experiment with sumo.Sean, as an experienced powerlifter what style deadlift do you recommend for the 531 + BBB that I'm starting? bench shirt is in. do I need to cut the back??? otherwise that mf'er isn't going on

Nice! Def gonna give these a try my next shoulder session!
You're not gonna get that bad boy on yourself. I cut the back, but I liked how it performed better before I cut it.
Try getting the sleeves set then having someone else pull it over your head. Eventually you can work toward getting it set lower, in which case you'll need to cut the back or at least cut some out of the back of the collar.
