Nope. APA/USAPL/RPS and I guess the EPF is a New England only thing. I could do one in Missouri but if I fly home to see family, I'm not gonna want to compete. I think I might take the September USAPL meet seriously for training and get used to the equipment over the summer. Thinkin 700 squat single ply sounds great lol

I squatted in chucks for the longest time. Then I moved to wrestling shoes... I just bought a pair of olympic weightlifting shoes that I'm going to try this weekend.
If you squat narrow like me then maybe look into some olympic lifting shoes. I know I spent a ton and probably not necessary but I LOVE my adipowers.![]()

haha yeah well you should have seen me when I started 5/3/1 back in October. I could only hit 465 3" above parallel. I don't think I took depth very seriously until the beginning of the winter. I actually find myself setting my lower back and pushin my butt out even to sit on the toilet or a chair lol squats everywhere!
Having a boy just over a year old helps...they naturally have perfect form- when he bends over to pick up a toy-perfect GM..when he squats down and holds something-paused goblet squat lol
You'll get there man. Your training seems a lot more structured than mine. you also have a much better work capacity than me
With you taking some steps into gear I might try out some knee wraps. Just using them will make me feel hardcore.![]()
My son is going strapless as long as possible. I saw the other day that Matt Kroc squats without so we will see..

guy at my gym competed last weekend and hit 585/305/625 raw..weighing 181lbs. those weren't even push and pull PRs for him

He competes next weekend. He is coming up this weekend and we are going to play around with some stims to see what he likes for the meet. What was your set up as far as your meet stims Sean?
Yeah that was my thought as well. He will be drinking a gallon jug of IForce Compete thru the meet but I was just thinking of having a pre-mixed bottle of Enhanced along to sort of sip on for the meet. He is sort of a stim rookie and I have let him try a preworkout now and then at the minimum dose. It had him wired for hours. Lol This is one reason why he is here this weekend for experimentation. Mwah ha ha
Enhanced! I'm loving it more n more. I'd toss some Gatorade in with the Compete also for some calories.
I'll probably do like a lighterish stim on the way and then maybe have something in the bag incase I get tired.
Also got some ammonia caps
