Like said in the first reply, some don't like it for cutting, I've used it for both and loved it both times. I was gaining muscle while severely calorie restricted. It'll also pack on the muscle if you're bulking so take it however you like. Bulking is probly better, but it'd be good for both. Another thing that I might like to mention is that it's a glycogen loading monster and it'll increase RBC, so if you're using it pre-contest it'd probably really help you keep full muscle bellies and vascularity. I remember it definitely made me all veiny and stuff.
