Some of you might recognize me; I'm an old T-nation forumite who quit the forums over censorship issues. I'll be on here quite often now and look forward to meeting some new faces and hopefully revisiting some old ones!

Rockscar said:Now THAT...I can notice. Great job. The definition is coming up as well as the size.
Your house is still a Pigsty though! LOL
And I have wood floors too, but my dog is too old to slide, but the cats sure do!
Proteinpowda said:I'm not sure....I'll have to see how I look when I lean out more....
Rockscar said:Somehow I knew this would come into play!! Hey, it's working so I won't knock it.

however, you look like the nerd in the movie 'slackers'. only 10x bigger. :icon_lol: don't take wrongly, it's just something i noticed. i obviously watch too much TV.

Consider something.....at one point in September I had leaned out to 188lbs; my waist was down to 33" or less.....At the end of my bulking phase about 5 weeks ago I was at over 230lbs. That's over a 40lb difference. I think that warrants a bit of a cut....
Granted if I had to do it over again I would've still cut as soon as I started the school semester down to 188-190. I probably would've done 4-8 weeks of maintenance at that weight before bulking up and I would've eaten better the three weeks I took the 1-ad and gained about 25lbs so that when I came off of it I wouldn't have been absurdly fat and then did 4 weeks on the V-Diet....So yes I've pretty much bulked straight since January.....
So overall since September I had 3.5 weeks of cutting....and I've been cutting at 3000 calories/day or so right now....
Is that yo-yoing?

Rockscar said:Not to me it isn't. Wow, 230, then you cut. You seem to have a gift for weight fluctuation. I'm just happy to gain any pounds that I tend to never want to cut.
Proteinpowda said:Oh and from about 3 weeks or so ago here's a leg shot.
Did I tell anyone I'm a vegetarian of over 10 years too?
Rockscar said:If you didn't say it I was going to point that out for you!
Fuc$*ng A dude, your legs look awesome! I have not been able to squat since I ruptured my disc. Check out the MRI.
Proteinpowda said:I remember your posting that back on the "other" site awhile ago. How's the recovery?
I too had to take about a year off from squatting b/c of a sprained ligament in my left knee...I've recovered quite nicely I think![]()

Mach .78 said:I was a Vegan for 3 years and weighed in at 157 when I was a road bike freak. I'm now 200 and eating meat again. I know it isn't easy to go that veggie route, so props to you my friend. What's your take on all of these "designer supplements" out now? Staying natural? Just curious.
Mach .78 said:I agree with what you are saying. I have learned so much from being here and you will too. I am intrigued by these orals, their delivery methods and the timeframe in which they work. Take SD for example, the 2nd week for most people is a total transformation while it takes injectables longer to show. I think the future of these supps is going to be interesting. I think as long as people are responsible and take them in moderation without skimping on PCT there shouldn't be any major problems. The supplement industry is on rocky ground right now. This will force creativity in this arena to another level.
You will find the board members here knowledgable and respectful for the most part. Welcome to AM. I look forward to chatting with you again.

JPmess said:Whats up powda. I too made my way from the nation a few months ago. This is a good group of people that are very knowledgable, you'll fit right in.
JPmess said:There were an abundance of small factors that were annoying, but could be overlooked. The main reason was just the BS that was posted. You'd get someone that would post something completely ridiculous and get commended then another with a legit question or comment and would get ripped to shreds. Maybe I was just being a pussy and I know everyone has there opinions but I just was fed up.
Apowerz6 said:SO post your article on metabolism and biochem so we can look at it rip it to shreds
No seriously would love to read some interseting thoughts and articles!!!
Proteinpowda said:I agree entirely. In terms of BS...you can only post positive reviews? How am I to ever trust a review there then.
But a lot of people set themselves up to be ripped:
Hi I"ve been lifting for 3 months. My arms have plateaud at 14". Should I cut? I don't need to eat more than 1200 calories right?
Honestly the best thread I ever posted could've been considered an article on metabolism and biochem...and it had the fewest replies. Yet my beat my captions contests (all in good fun) received the most.
A few of the board members pissed me off with their die-hard, cult-like following.....
Proteinpowda said:So I felt like just going to the gym and throwing around some heavy weights.... just missed setting a new PR on bench of 375....
But I hid 445 on a conventional deadliftThen I had to stop lifting b/c I tore up my hands.
Proteinpowda said:Just gutted the house....hence the mess....
