I wouldn't touch trip, if you need that to kick your nuts back on you mine as well go trt.
But you made a great point about getting bloods weeks after pct.
All these morons get bloodwork the last week of clomid or right after and they see high test levels because there testosterone is being artificially elevated by the clomid. It's 3,4,6 weeks later that your testosterone levels out and that's your real reading on testosterone.
Another thing I wanna add to this conversation is this, if you plan on cycling more then 1 cycle per year and doing so for multiple years then pct is a waste of time. Your just flipping the switch on and off repeatedly and there is no real recovery period because your starting the next cycle before everything has really been good. People see there test and health markers are back to normal and in a few weeks they hop back on cycles.
So in reality you run your 12-20 week cycle, testosterone and health markers go south, then you pct, say it takes 4 weeks for things to "look" normal, now 4 weeks later there planning there next cycle. Congratulations, you spent 24 weeks of suboptimal health and shutdown and spent 1-4 weeks actually being healthy or recovered.
You would be much better off running mild 12-16 week cycles and then cruising on a real trt dose of 200mg or less for 12 weeks maintaining your progress and start up again
