My S4 experience after 5 weeks
I have been following this thread for a while and have never posted here but thought you would like to know about a complete experience.
I am 5'10" 214-218lbs and 38 years old. I was on a 66 week cycle of test prior to taking S4. I came off the test cycle by tapering down to 250mg/week and just used a little HCG and about 6 weeks of clomid. I recovered well and then started S4.
I took 25mg once per day in the morning.
After one month I had noticeable gains. Body weight stayed within the same range but strength was way up. My squat is actually higher now than when I was on. Deadlift is just a tiny bit below where it was. My bench has a little bit more to go before it is also the same. Not too impressive numbers here if you are wondering 455 squat, 575 dead, 335 bench.
Problems with my eyesight took about two weeks before they got annoying. First my night vision started to decrease a bit and then I started seeing weird spots in the dark when I was sleeping - really bizarre. I also experienced a bit of blurry vision in my right eye.
After I stopped taking S4 my vision returned to normal in three days.
After starting my second cycle of S4 vision problems came back in two weeks although not entirely as bad just yet. I am currently 17 days into the second cycle.
Body composition wise it is pretty easy for me to see a difference in size. My ex-girlfriend who doesn't see me all the time was asking me how much stuff I was taking and wasn't entirely convinced that I wasn't on. She also said I looked leaner but I am also taking 2iu of HGH and have been for 10 weeks but the strength gains and the leaning out really didn't occur until two weeks into starting S4.
Workouts are amazingly satisfying in terms of the pumps I am getting. Endurance is very good. My strength my assistance exercises are actually higher than when I was on amazingly. By assistance exercises I mean exercises outside of the main movements for powerlifting.
My thoughts on S4 is that it definitely works - pretty unmistakable results. The vision problems really suck though. I don't know if my night vision ever gets fully adjusted after being in the dark for a while.
If the S4 I have is Andarine I can't wait for the more powerful ones to become available as the vision problems are not something I am too comfortable with and will probably take a month off before going on the stuff again once I am finished with my second cycle.
Wikipedia says that development of Andarine has been abandoned because of a toxic metabolite. Maybe this toxic metabolite is responsible for the vision issues? Clomid also has ocular toxicity as well but I haven't heard of anyone having any long term effects from taking too much of that - still though stating the drug is toxic is unsettling.
There are some other benefits of Andarine I didn't know about according to Wikipedia:
In an animal model of benign prostatic hypertrophy, andarine was shown to reduce prostate weight with similar efficacy to finasteride, but without producing any reduction in muscle mass or anti-androgenic side effects.[3] This suggests that it is able to competitively block binding of dihydrotestosterone to its receptor targets in the prostate gland, but its partial agonist effects at androgen receptors prevent the side effects associated with the anti-androgenic drugs traditionally used for treatment of BPH.
If you search for Ostarine that is currently in clinical trials by GTx and is their second SARM they have developed - hopefully this will become available soon and doesn't have the toxicity associated with it and I think I read somewhere that it is stronger.
Thats all I can think of...hope this is useful info...
