Macho Man Randy Savage is gone.

Had a heart attack in the car this morning and lost control. He was 58.

Bummer.

He was definitely one of the more colorful characters, I love watching him as a kid!

I feel the same way. The 80's were the Golden Age of professional wrestling. Lost in his outrageous character was the fact that he was a brilliant technical wrestler. His match with Ricky Steamboat at WM III is still considered one of the best ever and he will always be a legend despite the beef between him and McMahon.

I never said I watched it live. I used to rent every wrestling PPV on VHS starting when I was 6. WM III was one of the first ones that I rented.

I remember my 2 year old birthday.

My barber when I was a child had all those wrestlmania's on vhs for rent, my father was kick ass and rented them all the time. Just my barber's side business.

I got to see him at an event in State College when i was in college. Came out with the entourage, including Gorgeous George. It took me until today to remember that Macho Man was there... I mean, I definitely knew SHE was there, but everything after that was just a blurrrr and puddle of drool.
