Rice

Don't really understand the question. Dropping bodyfat is about a clean diet and being in a deficit. Has nothing to do with a specific type of rice. If this is about carb sources, stick to low GI carbs otherwise high GI insulin spikes can negate progress.

Is there something specific relating the rice to fat loss?

30 grams of carbs from jasmine, basmati, brown rice, or white rice is still 30 grams of carbs.

Brown Rice has a lower GI, so it should be a better choice.

If you cook your rice with a table spoon of coconut oil it causes a process that makes some of the carbs indigestible and lowers the GI of it.

Brown rice and other whole grains contain phytic acid (phytate). Phytic acid is an anti-nutrient binding to essential minerals like iron, zinc, calcium, and magnesium preventing the body from absorbing them

Studies have shown that glycemic index itself is not factor that impacts bodyweight or composition.
