Got to the gym a bit late today, and just wasn't feeling it, but...did legs for the first time in a month or so(since I hurt the knee) It was a quick but great session. IMO anyway.

Alright, since I like to kick you in the nuts - if that is the same leg press I used 17 years ago at Elon - I used to do OVER 1000 pounds on that machine. Literally, I felt like an idiot doing leg presses because I would have to take almost every 45 in the place and I felt like everyone looked at me like, "Who's this jerk taking all the plates? Does he think he's something?"

And then I would stand up and almost pass out from dizziness. It was awesome. To be 20 again.

If you're squatting 305 and using that machine....In the words of Giles Corey, "More weight!"

Ugg. Why? Why do I even try? I can do more homie, not sure what I CAN do, but more. In all honesty, the squats had taken so much out of me that I was just worn out. On top of that, although I wasnt having issues with the presses, getting going from the rest position was causing a pain in my knee and I wasnt sure how much It would take. But I dont know whether to thank you for always pushing me to do more, or Superman punch you in the coin purse for constantly reminding me that Im still a little b1tch. Thanks. ! ?

Quick check in guys!! Not getting i the scale again until next Monday, but Im feeling so much better. Busted out a quick leg session this morning. Ive decided to start doing squats in the format I was doing my bench press in as it seemed to have really build my strength up. So 225 , even numbers starting with 10 down to 2. Let me know what you think

Im still feeling it. FYI, im good to go and never laid off of the Ultra. BUT ITS RUNNING LOW

Ive enjoyed it. Hard to tell with weight loss as if now. Although it started off doing well, I got the food poisoning and thus had some issues for a little over a week. Unusual, but although Inhad the common symptoms, Ive definitely had some water retention since. I feel like by the time I get towards the end of the bottle I will
Have a much more reliable view. But the everyday feel while using it is great, the appetite suppression is wonderful, and its a great PWO when it comes down to it. I have noticed that on days like today, where I dont take it until later in the evening due to sleeping through the day, I sometimes get a minor headache.

I'm not even gonna comment on the squats...Jesus. But do you have a donkey calf raise machine?? That's the only machine I've ever seen that you can load up with hundreds of pounds (except for a sled press, I guess). If not, have you ever used the Donkey Calf Raise machine?!?! Those things are the bee's knees!

Not a donkey calf machine. I honestly dont know what it , never seen one like this. But it is a standing machine. I use the leg press too, and will load with 700+ on that..just seems easier to me. And thank you on the squat comment..I think. By the way I did forget to reply a week ago, my arm routing is fairly structured, but not necessarily set in stone. Im apt to change it as the session goes on.

Squat comment was absolutely a compliment!! Donkey Calf Raise machine was probably made most popular by Arnie and his crew way back when...the machine has a pad that sits on your lower back while your legs are vertical and your torso in horizontal for the most part. Complete calf isolation and destruction. If you have a partner you can do it with plates resting on your lower back and leaning into a preacher bench or something similar to keep you in relatively the same position. I do LOVE the sled press for calves but even when going lighter I don't get as much activation. If you can find a gym with the aforementioned machine STAY THERE lol. I've only seen it once.

Stop making the love handles go away! They are handles for people you rescue, to get a grip on the rescuer. Now people will die.

Too funny man. Unfortunately We were only in the gym about 30 minutes and got a call..so I never got over to the calf machine, but will definitely get you a picture on Saturday!!

Still here guys, but my schedule has been h3ll. Between fire, EMS, family and taking some remedial classes to start towards my degree, Ive been swamped . But still loving this Ultra! The feelz are still there, never really settled like so many other fat burners do after the first couple weeks. I did take a break from them as I missed several lifts, but Im back on track. My weight is up a bit, but only to 217, but not 100% convinced its fat. When I have been lifting..its been hard. Didnt log my lifts today but I did get a PR with a bench of 335x1 today, pretty stoked. About another week left to go.
 
Congrats on the PR! It's double awesome that you pulled it off amidst the chaos which is your life now. You have officially earned the right to pat yourself on the back!:)
