Recommend a good fish oil plz

Your opinions are appreciated. I don't know of any good brands to consider. Any ideas on dosage amount/timing are welcome. I am sure this has been discussed numerous times before, but I just can't seem to get the search function to work to my advantage. Any tips on navigating this forum would be nice too.
 
nutraplanet has great products and I have used their fish oils before but it is hard for me to differentiate between their fish oil and a common brand at walmart. Either way I would recommend ordering from Nutra.
 
SAN 3X fish fats, keep them in the fridge before you take them to avoid the bad fish burp that ocmes with all good fish oil supps.

I don't feel it's possible to get enough epa/dha from tablets/caps. I started using Barleans Cod Liver oil - lemon flavor. It actually tastes awesome. I take 3 tsp a day which equals out to 15 grams / day. It's pharmaceutical quality stuff and really high in the mega's that really matter.

There are entric "coated" fish oil supp's and the coating def. got rid of the nasty fish burps that I used to get. I couldn't tell if the ones from NP have any coating or not. np does have good deals but are out of stock today.

I just ordered some NOW omega-3 Invalid Link Removed How many grams would u recommend/day? Also how many pills would I need to take to get 10g?
 
To my point dosing high (5g or more) is usually cheaper & easier too using liquid. It tastes just like lemon flavored veggie oil. But if you already ordered the pills you'd need 10 of those a day. With the liquid I have, I take 3 teaspoons a day and it equals out to 15 grams a day & it's insanely high in epa/dha. There were some studies done where they had some people eating just slightly above maintenence and started to take high dosed fish oil (10-30g a day) and they gained quite a bit of lean mass. Which brand do you use?
 
Well I shopped around quite a bit before deciding on Barleans Cod Liver Oil. A lot of Mega's are loaded with omega 6's & 9's but have low doses of fish oil (epa & dha) which are the most beneficial to your health. I went with this one because it's really high in epa/dha and the price was decent too.
 
I prefer to sit on the banks of the rivers in colorado and grab fish as they jump from stream to lake much like a bear, and then scrap their oils off with a butter knife. I later make this into a transdermal and cover my body in it twice a month. They call me the omega man around my town.

I actually just buy the wal mart brand.
 
Carlson, Nordic Naturals, or Biotest. I have heard others talk about the quality of Biotest recently. But, Carlson and Nordic Naturals have been pretty highly regarded for awhile.
 
i wanted to buy nutraplanet's 1000 caps for my megadose cycle im trying but they're sitll out, had to buy them from another site

I take the Nutraplanet ones and now that they have the smaller size for $7.95 you should try them. The fish oil is molecularly distilled which is one thing to look for when comparing quality. If they don't workout for the price just throw them out or give them away.

I used to take Olympia Labs which were enteric coated and never had a fish burp no matter what I was eating. Great stuff but to expensive compared to the Nutraplanet deal.
