I haven't heard of anyone but if it's in your job description that you can be tested randomlly and fired then it could legally happen as steroids are an illegal substance in the US. Most places only test for narcotics but with the hooplah now surrounding juice and the price of the test coming down some companies may be including that in their tests.

thanks i pretty much thought they wouldnt test for steriods, and this is a good assumption considering my company. I have the biggest fear of Deca for many reasons! It is the best mass builder as far as injectables.

Anyone out there been fired or busted for AAS by their job?

Ya, if they are testing for steroids then it isn't a random test...Plus the job will tell you when you're hired what they will be testing for.

i lost the paper. but oh well i will forget about it. thanks guys.

I'm not sure how much a test for narcotics costs but actually the testing for AAS is not that expensive as I thought the NSAC just revealed how much it costs them to test a fighter and it was in the low hundreds per fighter. the testing for stimulants added on to the cost but most work places are going to test for that already.

narcotics costs around $30. steroids runs around $130. dont sound like much but if you have 100 employees or more it can add up over a years time even randomly.

Test and Deca have legit medical uses. Same with Winny, Anadrol, Anavar, etc. I don't think an employer can force you to show you have a script for them, that would sound like breaking some sort of law. Like maybe inquiring about your medical history. There are no real excuses for meth, coc, E, however.

If you test hot for any illegal substance you have to show a legit purpose. Morphine and cocaine have legit uses too.

What is cocaine legal purpose?? I think it is FDA approved for something to do with eye surgery (some sort of topical anesthetic ) but not sure?????

So what if you have AIDS, have a script for Var, and the employer asks you why you are taking it. You'd have to reveal your medical history and I think there are generally laws to protect against that -- discrimination or some sort.

I think if they give you a conditional work offer they can ask more in depth personal questions. Not sure if that's legally correct though and if medical conditions would need to be revealed. Probably might depend on your state too.

Not to mention some jobs require letting the employer know if you have contagious diseases. Those usually require annual physicals anyways with blood tests.

If you're getting tested for AAS then it won't be random. And if you indeed have AIDS and have a script for a steroid then all you'll need to do is get it verified by the doc telling the employer that due to a undisclosed illness, you're getting steroids.

Yes I work in the biochem field we do drug resisitance testing for HIV positive paitents it is illegal for most jobs to ask about medical history unless that condition such as contagious disease would be a danger to others. for instance an office worker does not have much threat of passing on their disease but an EMT, dentist assistant, any job that could come into contact with bodily fluids could possible be asked about conditions that would endanger others safety. But as opposed to the subject a script would cover you in almost all cases and if not you probablly could very well be fired
