Radar detectors--which one to buy??

Being someone who has tried them all, including the entire Escort line up until the 8500X50, I have to say there is absolutely no substitute for the V1. Like their ads say...once you experience the directional arrows, you will wonder how you ever lived without them. I just bought my fiance a V1 for her new car a couple months ago, it was only $399, not $500, and I even found some on eBay with current software revisions for under $300. I opted for a new one in the end. Add a concealed display and second wiring harness, and you are talking $500, but even so that is worth every penny. I personally prefer the concealed display however always go with hard-wiring it. The V1 stock cigar lighter adaptors SUCK!

V1, I've used others over the years and have had V1's for years too. I don't care what anyone says or what "one sided" test say, I sold my Escort 9500 and stuck with V1. The arrows are priceless.

Even in my racing groups, damn near everyone has a V1, I'd say over 90%, and the others just have whatever else.

V1, all my buddies got it and is like the most popular one, u could prolly find one for cheaper on car forums

I had the Escort 8500 for about 2 years. About 6 months ago I switched to the V1 and I fell in love! V1 FTW
