R.I.P. REPORTER

ChemicalD

Have you seen my stapler???
To all of you who haven't read the "ergopharm AMP" thread started by The Reporter in Nutraplanet's forum, his wife has posted that he has passed away.

I have read many of his posts and he seemed dedicated to fitness and improving his overall health and well-being.

His wife left an email address for discussions.

Here is the link: Invalid Link Removed

Rest in peace Reporter. May God bless you and your wife.

Wow, that is upsetting, I am truly sorry for your loss. I have read many of his posts, and he was really a great person.

Condolences to you and your family.

"I truly believe that my husband's consumption of "anything that will help him build muscle" was a contributor, if not the cause of his untimely death. He was 40 years old"

I wonder what he was taking.

I cannot be sure, but I think he had taken superdrol in the past  . I need to look at the reviews over at 1fast, I may indeed be mistaken, and I hope I am. I do know that he had a passionate thread over at 1fast and avant's forums on IBE ORATROPIN!

I am sure there were many factors involved. Speculation will lead to fear. Information will come, or it will remain a mystery. Nevertheless, let us remember the motto: Learn, Teach, Lead.
Again, May the Lord bless the Reporter, his wife, his family, and us all.

My condolences to his family. This is very sad and unfortunate. I can't believe it. I read so many of his posts and he seemed like a real nice guy. He was hardworking and dedicated to the fitness lifestyle. I hear about a lot of bodybuilders untimely passing and it truely scares me.

Again, please do not speculate on any cause(s) without facts. Please be considerate for his wife and family. My prayer is she will find peace and stength in this most unfortunate time.

OH man..I can't beleive it...

I was just reading his OT stuff yesterday...

RIP bro and my sincere prayers & condolences to his family.

He will be in my thoughts and prayers this week, and I will say a special prayer for him at mass this Sunday. I am truly saddened by the passing of your husband, and by the loss of a great member to this community. God Bless

To his wife and family - My condolences extend to you. May you find the strength and courage necessary to overcome this loss. May you also find love and support through each other to see through this time. Best.

 my condelences go to his family. It sucks to have to hear bad news about fellow board members. Hope his family can overcome this ragedy

Wow, I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope that you can live on to see better days...and I thank you for the kind gesture of giving us a wake up call so to speak....this really put's things into perspective lifestyle wise. This should go as a reminder to all, that wanting to live a healthy lifestyle sometimes can get the best of you. Heart attacks are SO typical to us BB'ers/athletes, etc. these days due to enhancement and other supps....safety should always be your number one priority...and even then as in this case, it can still happen. My thoughts go out to you and your family.....

I really don't know what to say. I also read your husbands logs and posts. I know your husband will be missed by those of us who knew him or chatted with him online. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

any info on cause of death? my money is on hypertension. regardless of the reason he will be missed; my condolences

I just got off the phone with Kasey, the Reporters wife. Reporters name was Rossi. Yes it is true he did pass away suddenly of a heart attack. She is handling it very well all things considered. She did have a concern that the supplements he was taking aided in his passing. I asked her if he had any history of any medical condition and she did say he had Hi blood pressure. She is not going to go after anyone because she feels it was just his time and God called him home but she does want everyone to know what happended and to be wise in your use of any products. They were married for 7 years and she said he loved so much the sport of body building. It sounds like they had a wonderful marriage and she appreciates all your prayers. I don't know what else to tell you but I hope this wakes the eyes up for some of you who go overboard and try to get to much to quick. I know it woke me up. It just goes to show, no one know that day and the hour of there death. Make the most of every day.
By the way, incase you didn't know, Reporter was only 40.

My deepest condolences to his family and friends. He was a good guy and a respected member of several boards, and he'll be missed.

RIP buddy. :(

Very sorry to hear this....my heart and my prayers go out to the Reporter's wife and family.

That is very upsetting. I always enjoyed reading reporter’s posts. When you saw a Reporter’s post you know it would be informational as well as entertaining. His ability to interject light-hearted humor into his posts is a quality that will surely be missed. I pray that his family will be able to find some comfort to help through their loss.

This is very sad and I am sorry to read this. I hope comfort and peace find his family and friends.

My thoughts go out to the family.

On a second note, I've always wondered what it would be like if one of us died. Likely, the rest would never hear about. I've seen people disappear from other message boards and always wondered.

Holy sh*t, that is absolutely horrible. I'm a lurker and haven't posted before but I loved reading his posts here and on BN. Seemed like a very good guy and very knowledgeable and helpful to others. My prayers are with him and his family and friends...... R.I.P. Reporter. You will be missed.

I hate to ask at a time like this but I'm sure many here are wondering, does anyone know what he was taking at the time of his death???

My deepest condolences his family.

It is a great loss to us here at the board, the sport of BBing and the world.

my condolences to kasey and the family. i will pray for you all at mass on sunday. the reporter was a great guy. i always respected his contribution to this board and bn. we lost someone who helped us all.

This really shocked me...a lot. It shows that you can have a bond with faceless names on the internet through their writing personna and common interests. You start to think about his family and what they are going through. You think "how could this happen to such a decent guy" or just "how did this happen". I will truly be thinking about this shockingly sad news in the days to come. I will also be thinking about how the friendships unknowingly form on this and other boards. My heart goes out to Kasey and her family.

Again, I wish to state my deep sorrow upon hearing this. As someone stated, we are faceless and separated by distance, yet the people who gather and interact regularly here develop bonds and friendships. In fact, we speak to each other more frequently than many people we know more personally. This really feels like a personal loss, although I do not in any way wish to suggest that we are experiencing loss in any way comparable to that of Kasey and the family. The Reporter will be missed.

Remember, as someone also said, to take time to appreciate life today, family, friends, and the opportunities we enjoy. And again, to Kasey and family: Our hearts are heavy, and we love and support you in your time of grief. I think I may speak for everyone at AM when I say that.

He will truly be missed. My deepest sorrows go out to the family. Your life is now Reporters greatest legacy as his spirit lives on in you.

Sorry to hear of this, and my apologies for not replying sooner.

I noticed today was The Reporters birthday. So like I do for other bro's here, I started a Happy Birthday thread. Please contribute to show his family and friends he is thought of and missed during this difficult time. Invalid Link Removed

So true. My prayers to his family.
