Hi all

First post for me on the board. Based in Botswana if any of you know where that is???

Anyways, I have been back training for about 2 months. Done weight training on and off for the last 8 years.

At the moment , I am eating 3 meals , chicken , oats , tuna ..... the usual. Then
a MRP between breakfast and lunch , and lunch and dinner and then finally a protein only shake before bed.

Following the body for life setup. 3 days weights and 3 days cardio.

Basically now , I am wanting to slowly lean down but gain strength and muscle.

I wake up at 5:30 for gym.

Now , is it okay to train on all my mornings on an empty stomach or will this
bring about muscle break down? do you recommend a protein shake on waking?

I train for tops 45 minutes and I live 2 minutes from the gym.

Thanks for any help. Loving all the information on this forum. Great help!

Short answer, yes, training on empty stomach will be fine. Long answer: use the search function, this is talked about every other day.

i would suggest a protein shake b4 ur training...if u can just mix a good homemade high calorie shake with oats, whey, and olive oil (or whatever type of oil u like as in coconut oil) b4 ur workouts it would be fine... personally in the days taht i train in the morning i get up 45 minutes earlier so i can make a meal and fix a shake...
