Lets be sure to be accurate, just in case we need to compile any data. I was in week two, and didnt have a sore throat at all. But I got antibiotics from the doc, and stopped taking everything, and I still feel like crap, but Im better than I was. The first three days I thought it was allergies/sinus and didnt goto the doc right away, then I got a fever/chills/sweats at night, then the next day I had tons of congestion and thought I was going to cough up a lung. All our incidents could be just an unpleasant coincidence, but I would like to keep an eye on things.
Everything is almost the same expect when I felt hot/feverish, I never got my temperature checked to see if it actually was a fever. Too lazy/toughed it out instead of walking to the health center to make an appointment.
Mullet, here is my report, as accurate as possible:
- Prime was at 9 caps per day
- Started Monday, felt a "throat tickle" Thursday night. ie: the. "****, I'm about to get sick/the flu, throat tickle"
- woke up with a semi sore throat.
- for the next four days it blew into full out nasal congestion (thick green and yellow mucus) alternating with sinus leaking, coughing, and sore throat which also resulted in a stomach ache due to the post nasal drip.
- at the tail end, the congestion and sore throat were gone, but my head/sinus pressure was intense and painful. The kind where you are painfully aware of every bone in your face every time you take a step or walk down the stairs
More notes:
- during the 4 days of full out sickness, I took Vitamin C pills, at about 3 grams per day, split into 3 i gram doses, similar to the dosing protocol for cortisol suppression (there is a study on it, actually)
- I never stopped training, and still was able to improve upon my workouts
- I never stopped taking Prime, expect for taking the recommended 2 off.
- during this time, I've been having to force feed myself, still no extra appetite
