Dsade I figured you'd be the best person to ask about this given your experience with it. I bought some PLCAR from an online retailer and was wondering if you had any tips or easy to spot ways of telling if the PLCAR is legit or not?
 
Does it contain any fillers? Powder? Caps?
 
Tough one that's hard to qualify. It smells and taste somewhat similar to ALCAR (much much cheaper material), but will be even more sour, with a harsher "bite"

Other than that, open a capsule and dump out to powder. Leave it exposed to air for a day or two. If there isn't too much filler in there, it will pick up an extreme amount of moisture from the air, and might even turn semi-liquid - like a goo. ALCAR won't pick up as much ambient moisture.
 
Awesome! That's exactly what I was looking for. I'll taste test and try exposing the powder for a day or two and see how it goes.
