what was your rep scheme(on average) and how much did you gain


im trying to get some research for a theory i have.
 
well, I'm only on my first week of SD, but I always train between
1 and 5 reps and I'm already up about 6 lbs. hope this helps.
 
For my reps I stuck with 4 sets at 6-8 reps as heavy as possible....Able to gain 15lbs in 5 weeks.....So far after 3 weeks PCT I have been able to keep 12lbs. Strength went up every workout and I have been able to pretty much keep all my strength gains.

what about rep range during PCT? i've heard you need to back off the intensity,because your body is in a sensitive state after the SD run.
 
During PCT I kept it exactly the same.....You never want to drop intensity during PCT, this is where many people will lose thier gains. Granted you don't want to push overtrain your body as hard as you did during a cycle, but the intensity should still be the same...ie if you could only get 5-6 reps out during a Superdrol cycle of a specific weight....Do a weight where you feel that you are challenged enough to still only get 5-6 reps out, or whatever reps you were doing while on cycle. The main belief to drop the intensity is because of increased cortisol levels post cycle. But the main key is adequate rest for your muscles, and a proper diet.....Nourishment plays a big key here...Your protein levels need to stay high.

PCT is the biggest contributing factor...What you take, how long you take it, and how you cycle it.

My PCT consisted of:

Clomid
Week 1 300/200/100/50/50/50/50
Week 2: 50mg
Week 3: 50mg

ATD
Week 1-2: 75mg
Weeks 3: 25mg

Tribex
Weeks 1-3: 2 grams/day

DHEA 50mg/day

Creatine 5mg/day
NOS - 6mg AAKG


Strength was not only maintained but continually increased throughout PCT, and it is still increasing gradually. Hope this helps a bit..

i'm in my 4th week of PCT. i'm running nolva/rebound/LX/dhea and other supps. my strength gains have started to diminish. i was banging 270 for 7 reps on bench. yesterday i was STRUGGLING with 250 for 4 reps. 100's on DB incline for 2/6, down to 95's 2/4. not too happy.also added CEE. lost my size gains also. i assume it was just water retention.
 
I'm not sure on that one.....Of course everyone will lose some gains. Many times it is just water, nitrogen and excess bodyfat(sometimes) ..

I'm an avid fan of Clomid....For me Nolva has always been more of an estrogen management chemical.....My body responds well to clomid and I can usually keep 75% of my gains......Rebound XT is somewhat similar to proviron in the manner that it has some androgenic properties which "should" help you keep most of your strength, and estrogen management as well.

How has your diet been? You may need to eat more just to help keep your body maintaining the new mass you have and help with Nitrogen retention..

I wouldn't get down bro....Is your weight still up from when you started??
 
i started at 185. after 4 week run, i was 198. i'm holding at 193 in my 4th week of PCT. i did drop my caloric intake somewhat because i was holding on to a little stomach fat. i've ramped them back up though. didn't you say you were STILL making gains, because now you stated that you've been able to keep 75% of your gains?? help me out with that one. what were your stats b4/after? care to post your diet? if not maybe you could mail it to me to make some comparisons. obviously, i should've drop the weight some during PCT. and stayed in the same rep range.

It's under SM Superdrol Log....you may have to register but I have a very detailed log...Hope that helps bro.

The 75% of my gains I was talking about was weight gain...Started @ 177 and got up to 192....Currently @ about 188

Hey, for PCT training check out this article from Avant's M&M. It utilized HST principles, using the 5-rep phase for 4 weeks PCT. IMO it looks pretty solid, enough so to where I'll be giving it a shot during my next cycle's PCT.

I completed a four week cycle of SD.

4 to 6 sets and 5 to 9 reps

I gained 20 pounds on the SD cycle.

I'm doing a five week PCT cycle.

Very nice Quickryde...If you don't mind me asking what was your dosing schedule for each week and what are you doing for PCT?
 
4 sets, one light warmup set of 10, then 3 heavy sets of 4-6, going to failure on the last rep.


I gained 20 pounds in 3 weeks. Maybe 2 of those pounds were fat. kept it all. not joking.

Dosing was 10mg a day first week
10 mg second/third week with 20mg on mondays and thursdays

did your waist measurement increase at all?
 
The first week of my SD cycle, I started with 10mg for a couple of days to test my tolerance to the Superdrol. I experience no side-effects at 10mg but I lost five pounds that week at 10mg. I increased the dosage to 20mg for the rest of that week and the following week and I started to gain muscle weight. So, I did a solid two weeks at 20mg and the last week I increased the dosage to 30mg.

I'm only taking Novedex XT, HMB, Lean Xtreme, DHEA, Glutamine, BCAA, Flax oil, Fish oil, CEE and I'm still taking all the side supplements like CoQ10, Red Yeast Rice, Odorless Garlic, Pro liver, Hawthron, and Policosanol.

I did a preload cycle before I started the SD cycle. I started taking Odorless garlic, Red yeast rice, Pro liver, CoQ10, and Hawthron Berry, about two weeks before the SD cycle. I have been taking fish oil and flax oil for a couple of years now and it does make a big difference in your growth.
