Question about Reset-A.D dosing

I've been using Reset-A.D for a couple days now and thinking about upping my dosage - the bottle says don't exceed 3 caps in any 24 hour period, but I'd like to try dosing Reset-A.D. 2 caps twice daily as I'm quite thickset fellow, 240+ lbs., and usually don't easily respond to supps, stims or other supps.

So, is 2 x 2 an absolute no-no? :)

Check out my non-sponsored log in the supps logs section (Invalid Link Removed) for more details and some background - so far been a bumpy ride but I'm still determined to make Reset-A.D. work even for a stressed-out, former stim-junkie like me. :)

PS. I will probably have my blood work done next week, just out of general curiosity - anything I should look for in the results because I'm currently on Reset-A.D?

I actually inquired about the hormones (or the enzymes) and the amounts of them in Reset-A.D. as the write-up says that the desiccated bovine tissue contains "some adrenal hormones" to support the recovery from adrenal fatigue in my previous post, but did not get a specific answer to what are those hormones exactly and to the amounts of them?

Well, it at least contains pregnenolone, so probably pregnenolone alone should boost the production of some adrenal hormones?

So, will I see a HUGE surge in my hormone levels now that I'm taking Reset-A.D once the results come back? :)

In all seriousness, can I expect to see some change e.g. in my cortisol levels, as cortisol is a stress hormone and Reset-A.D. is a stress regulator, right, or is it more like if everything else is ok, I should not see any of the effects of Reset-A.D. showing up in my test results? :)

I don't think 2x2 would be nearly as effective as 1x1x1 spread throughout the day. For heavier guys, guys with severe adrenal fatigue it is recommended to dose 3/day. I havn't really heard of anyone not responding to R - A.D so I am sure you'll be fine.

As for your cortisol levels, Reset A.D COULD have an effect on them indirectly, through alleviating stress.

Hey Dave, anything you wanted to add to this one? :)

I noticed you answering my dosing question in my log thread - thank you for that. :)

As for the other question - the reason why I'm so vehemently inquiring about the hormonality of Reset-A.D, is that although I seem to be a non-responder to most non-hormonal products out there, I seem to be ultra-sensitive when it comes to ANYTHING even slightly hormonal.

E.g. I recently purchased Jungle Warfare which caused my joints start aching like crazy only after two weeks of use.

Also experienced same kinds of feelings of anxiety and mood swings with JW (and to some degree with BAM which I took just before BAM) as I'm currently undergoing with taking the Reset-A.D.

With Reset-A.D. (on day 5 now, my log is not up-to-date, sorry for that) the mood swings have been "out of this world" and become almost unbearable by now.

I was thinking could it be that as the JW/BAM stack is quite hormonal, that taking the Reset-A.D right after that stack might have compounded the hormonal effects of Reset-A.D I think I'm experiencing?

Like I said, I still do not know much about the hormones in Reset-A.D. but I do know that pregnenolone is a DHEA pre-cursor and bovine adrenal tissue is somewhat "hormonal", so these in theory can affect your mood (although one might surmise the effect to some what different than what I have experienced)?

So, could it be just so that to guys like me that seem to respond well only to the negatives of any hormonal supps, even Reset-A.D could prove to more deleterious to my health goals than supportive of them in the long run? :)

Just making poorly educated guesses here. :)

PS. I will have my blood work drawn on Tuesday and the fact that I want to have some tests done has nothing to do with my taking Reset-A.D. It's just something that has been on my mind for a long time and never really have had my hormone levels etc. checked, so thought it was about the time as I'm nearing my 32nd birthday and been using all kinds of supps heavily (although I have tried to avoid any hormonal stuff) for the past 3-4 years.

Today was day 7 of my Reset-A.D experiment and not sure whether my body is already adapting to the negatives, but today took two caps of Reset-A.D only 3 hours apart and did not experience any negatives (unlike days 1-5).

I remember when starting out on Powerfull - the first doses I took made me feel so drowsy - the first time I took 2 caps at a time, almost fell asleep standing up, but after a week or so, stopped feeling the negatives completely. Also same thing with Anabolic Pump - first days nothing but dizziness, but after a couple of days took habitually 2 caps on an empty stomach and did not notice any dizziness (or anything) any more.

So, I'm kind of now expecting the same thing to happen with Reset-A.D i.e. that I will stop feeling the negatives (jitters, mood swings, the occasional feelings of drowsiness etc.) and finally start to feel the positives kicking in.

Also today had a pretty good workout after 3 or 4 days of not really feeling like hitting the gym at all. Unfortunately it was leg day and due to my knee problem flare-up that coincided with my starting to take Reset-A.D. - but that was probably due to my running out of celecoxib and glucosamine - on Monday this week, I didn't enjoy my workout that much, though, but energy levels wise, it was satisfactory.

On the OTHER hand, yesterday - I skipped Reset-A.D altogether and I felt really good ALL DAY, but probably that was due to the fact that I had had an exhausting week at work, but yesterday I was able to sleep late and did not have to go to work, so probably that cheered me up more than any pill could have done! :)

Also, interestingly my weight has gone down almost 6 lbs in about 6 days, which is VERY interesting as there has not been any significant changes in my diet this week, although due the exhaustion I have experienced, my appetite has been kind of low all week.

But lack of appetite has not EVER been enough to make me shed fat like this so DEF something's going on here. :)

Will keep you posted - in this thread or in my log. :)

Everything sounds great man! Glad to see your liking Reset...join the club

A quick update on this thread - I had my test results back a couple of days ago - my cortisol was ok.

That was about one week into using Reset-A.D., hard to say how they are now but I'd say judging by the recent improvement in my overall mood and feelings of well-being, I'd say there has been only changes for the better.

I know it would have been more beneficial to have taken a "before" and "after" blood work, but at least I can now say that 2 caps of Reset-A.D. for about 8 days did not at least in any adverse way affect my cortisol levels.

If you have adrenal fatigue, yes. :D

Adrenal fatigue is alot more common than people think. For people that train with high intensity and use stims(drink coffee/caffeine) are probably striping their adrenal glands. I know I am guilty as charged as I love me some stims!!
