Day 21: Friday, August 19 2012


Superhero Fat Loss Phase one day one third and final time!

A1- Incline Barbell Bench- 125*5 for 5 sets.
A2- Pendlay Row- 125*5 for 5 sets.
Rest 45 seconds between sets.

B1- Chinups- BW*6 for 5 sets.
B2- Arnold Press- 25*5 for 5 sets.
Rest 60 seconds between sets.

Lower body metabolic circuit
C1- Lateral Lunges (15 reps per leg)
C2- Jump squats (10 reps)
C3- Plank (30 seconds)
C4- Single Leg Hip Raise (15 per leg)
C5- Burpee (10)
C6- Reverse Crunch (15 reps)
Rest 90 seconds, repeat 3 times.

Supplement/Workout thoughts

Blue Gene dosed about 60 minutes before and 2 scoops Purple Wraath pre/during workout. Another solid strong workout. Blue Gene is undoubtedly helping in the endurance/recovery when paired with Purple Wraath. Minimal soreness throughout this entire run and seems as if I'm getting my wind much quicker than normal in these very demanding workouts.

Day 23- August 19 , 2012

Workout:

Barbell Complex- 65 pounds for 9 reps, repeated 4 times.

A1- Push Press
A2- Romanian Deadlift
A3- Bent Over Row
A4- Hang Clean
A5- Alternating Lunges

Dumbell complex- 15 pound DB- 15 reps each exercise, performed 3 times.

B1- Left Arm Single Arm Overhead Press
B2- Right Arm Single Arm Overhead Press

B3- Left Leg Single Leg RDL
B4- Right Leg Single Leg RDL

B5- Unsupported Left-arm DB row (lunge stance-right leg forward)
B6- Unsupported Right-arm DB row (lunge stance-left leg forward)

B7- Left Leg Bulgarian Split Squat
B8- Right Leg Bulgarian Split Squat

B9- Left Side Plank (20 seconds)
B10- Right Side Plank (20 seconds)

Workout/Supplement thoughts:
Third and final time for this. Didn't increase anything, but did decrease the rest between sets. 2 scoops of PW and a dosing of BG about 50 minutes before this workout. Two workouts left and phase one is donzo for Superhero Fat Loss. Been very impressed with the added endurance from BG and PW. Don't know if I could have powered through these crazy complexes without them!

Going great. Almost done with the log, but I've seen considerable results. A few more weeks and I think I'll be really happy with where I'm at.
 
Ok, this board is flat eating posts from this thread. Very weird, every other thread runs great for me, but my log is haunted! Double, triple posts, and then I try to delete them and it deletes all. Grr!

Day 25: Tuesday August 21

Workout: Day 3 Superhero Fat Loss-3rd time

A1: Squat- Warmup, then 205*6 for 6 sets
A2: Swiss Ball Leg Curl- 6 sets of 6 reps

B1: Barbell Romanian DL- 105*6 for 6 sets
B2: Lunges- 85*6 for 6 sets

Metabolic circuit:

C1: Chinups (5 reps)
C2: Spiderman pushup (10 per side)
C3: Hand walkouts (10)
C4: Plank (15 sec)
C5: Inverted row (15 reps)
C6: Pushups (15 reps)

Do 4 times.

Workout/supplement thoughts: Less rest this time around than previous. Stated it many times, but endurance/recovery is where this combination truly shines. I'm glad I'm running it at a time that has such tough endurance workouts.
 
Day 27: Thursday August 23, 2012

Workout: Day 4 of Superhero Fat Loss- last time

Barbell Complex (65)

Military Press- 10 reps
Hang Clean/Front Squat combo- 10 reps
Bentover row/Romanian DL combo- 10 reps
Back Squat- 10 reps

Do 3 times.
Dumbell Complex- 20

Bent over alternating row- 15 reps
Squat/Push Press combo- 15 reps
Reverse lunge- 15 reps
Alternating floor press- 15 reps

Do 3 times.

Workout/Supplement thoughts:
That wraps up phase one of the Superhero Fat Loss program by Roman. Good stuff. A little different than the original Superhero program. Lighter weights and some more reps, but definitely looking at some nice results so far. BG 50 minutes before and PW dosed at 2 scoops throughout workout. Not going to lie already ordered another tub of PW. Really solid intra-workout product as we all know by now!

Log is almost wrapped up, final review will be coming in the next few days!
 
I was sidetracked with some family issues while the bulk of this log has been going on, but darn this is amazing. Your killing it in the gym and the bedroom LOL! Alot of people use BG as a staple, and I feel the best effects are felt on the second bottle, but still you can feel it from day 1 onwards. Really happy this combo is working for you, and it took time for me to pick the best 2 synergenic products of our line, I think I done good :D
