Palatinose is a decent choice for pre workout energy. It burns pretty evenly so it should help throughout the W/O. Might not have the effect you want for pumps though

I'll go for 6 g citruline, 1 g agmatine, 3 g creatine nitrate, and a little arginine instead for off cycle pumps
