PUMPS! pes high volume vs ol conquer

Yep it's in a lot of products.. A ton of people take it now.. When the old guy told me I thought he was crazy! Lol

Google jerry branium beetroot

Thanks. Just watched a very informative video from jerry brainum about muscle pump and beet juice! And he completely stresses the importance of nitrates. Now that i think about it, when i eat alot of broccoli or spinach i get vascular a half hour of so after. Apparently, leafy veggies are loaded with nitrates. But beets are king lol

I promise u!!!! When I tried it I couldnt believe it I tell people here and there and say I'm crazy lol

Stim or non stim?

stim version. really like the fact that it's not over stimmed. i've noticed that anything of 250mg, starts making me have headaches and feel like crap. loved the apple flavor. cracked open a watermelon today. its just as good. there is a weird taste in there. but, its not bad. i actually like it. :)

Ya the profile is great. Just didnt work for me. I had watermelon when i was using it. But i need the energy so i use hyde. Ive never built a tolerance to hyde and it always delivers energy wise. Its too strong for some people.

A non responder to all the ingredients? Seems a touch unlikely :D

Not to bring science overload into the thread...here is an excerpt from the High Volume writeup that helps explain the reason we use Nitrates, Agmatine, and Citrulline

Nitrate, in addition to having an 8 hour half-life, uses a unique pathway to boost NO [8]. To be specific, nitrates bypass the enzyme that L-Citrulline relies on, eNOS, which has a “saturation point” at which no further concentration can increase its activity. This means that you are not limited to only the pump of L-Citrulline and other ingredients using its mechanism with the combination of nitrate and L-Citrulline. You see, nitrate acts as an “NO donor,” meaning it converts to NO directly via a 2-step process called the nitrate-nitrite-nitric oxide pathway…no enzymes or restriction points involved [7]!

So if one for some reason doesnt work for you, the other is there take take over. Or if you are like most people, both work :)

I love nitrates. Gonna have to give a shoutout to noxygen for being a cheap source of nitrates an AaronJP1 could tell you more about nitrates as purus labs uses a lot of nitrene in their products

8 hour half life? Makes it more amazing. I didn't know that. Would it be beneficial to take an extra scoop 8 hours after first dose to keep the pump?

Well, just finished Day two of the HV. Worked out on an empty stomach. Im sitting here with a sickening pump as I type. So, it works for me and yesterday was no fluke. Additionally, I was lifting alot heavier than normal today and had a lot more endurance. I don't attribute that to the HV. Coincidentally, yesterday I started a Follidrone and Viron cycle. So could the hype be true? I think it is and Im pretty excited about that!

I would personally say no. I would just take the one to two scoops pre-workout and call it good.

I definitely notice some prolonged vascularity for a while after completing my workout with High Volume.

I wish I could look like that all the time lol.

Yes, up to 8 hours. It is dose-dependent, and obviously user dependent as well like most half-lives. I don't think you need to take an additional scoop though, unless you like to be pumped in your sleep? lol

Wagner et al. (1983) showed the half-life in the body
for an oral dose of nitrate to be approximately 5 hours. As
blood absorption depends on food matrix (see Section 6.1) and
route of exposure, and as larger doses may increase the
urinary excretion rate, the biological half-life for both
nitrate and nitrite should be expected to be 3 to 8
hours.

Nitrate does not accumulate in the body.

Great to hear!

Agreed

So taking Cialis tadalafil within 8 hours of PES High Volume might be a problem? I know you're not supposed to combine nitrates with a PDE5 inhibitors like Cialis. I just don't know if the nitrates in High Volume are dosed high enough to illicit a negative interaction

This is not recommended.

Yes, definitely do not do this.

I was just kidding on the **** talking thing bro. Na man, ive tried all pump products and for real nothing has worked. I got a pump using hv this morning. And just so im clear, i do get pumps just not the skin splitting veins flying out effect that i hear people talk about with these products. So far hv gave me the best "extra pump" if that makes sense. I dont think my digestion has anything to do with my pumpage.

Not for nothing even if there is no increase in pump the conquer would still be helpful considering the other ingredients.

Yep, while CONQU3R is definitely known for the solid doses of pump ingredients (6 g citrulline malate, 2 g high yield glycerol, 1 g agmatine), it is far more than purely a pump product. That said, High Volume has gotten good feedback as well, both under Athletix and now PES.
