Talked to scot for a while today and he's convinced me to do a meet he's running in February. I'm going to do bench only, maaaaybe push/pull. Either way I'm going to aim for 300 competition bench. I've hit that in the gym but it's alluded me in competition every time. I'll find out the exact date and see how it'll work in my programming.


As far as my plan goes for the next 6 months leading up to the Paralympics I'm going to run the cube method for the next 10 weeks then hire a coach to help me peak for the final 12 weeks.

So I woke up yesterday with a stye that's left me completely blinded. I'm going to attempt to get my squats in a few hours. We'll see how that turns out. I'm going to try out the monolift for the first time.
 
Saw my doc today and he gave me some meds to bring the stye down enough that I have some field of vision. So that's good. I'll give it a few hours to do it's work then head to the gym.
 
Was able to get into the gym and do something today. But between my one working eye being all swollen and the cold virus from hell I couldn't do much.

Went in to do my squats today but my girlfriend was having some migraines so I I got to 185 and her migraine started kickin hard so we went home. I'll go squat tomorrow. No big thang.
 
200 lbs fully clothed after breakfast. Not bad. I think I'm going to drop 10 lbs before may and compete in the 181's.

Scot mendelson was filming with rich Piana at the gym today. Pretty cool, I guess DLB is gonna be in next week so my girlfriend is giddy. I really like this new gym, I got in and out in 45 minutes even with the time I spent chatting with Scot and rich.
