Pretty good work today. Not feeling as good as it should but I'm confident I'll qualify for the paralympics at this meet.
 
Uhm. I'd say yes. I had sort of a rough morning. Just a lot on my plate so I felt pretty rundown. But it moved fast considering. My grip wasn't cooperating but I didn't drop anything.
I'm about 4 weeks out, things are looking better. The squat has me concerned but I should be able to qualify none the less.

I do believe after this meet I'll be working with scot mendelsons team every week. So that should help prep me for Korea.

Does anybody get pec pain when deadlifting? At the very top of that 365# single I got a pretty bad pain in my left pec, when I set it down the pain went away pretty quickly. I wanna believe it was a cramp since I was feeling a bit dehydrated to begin with. But idk.

I've gotten pec cramps while pulling heavy. It sucks

These were pretty good actually. Hip felt fine. And I found depth easy. I'm still going to play it conservative and open light.

Just took it easy today. Pec is bugging me from deadlifts

I started at a 25 on each side and added 50ish pounds every set until I couldn't get ten reps anymore. Last set I did was 6 reps at 6 plates on each side.

It was a PR with flat foot and competition pause but honestly that's because I jut haven't flat foot benched in a very long time, before the training cycle anyways. Felt good, moved fast think I'm good for 285-290 with a pause.
 
Was in the gym today while my girlfriend hit her bench PR. 105 lbs. just shy of bodyweight. Also was helping a training partner with his squats but was technically supposed to rest today. So all I did was some Hammercurls and pushdowns. Squats tomorrow.
 
Had some weird stuff come up tonight so I'll be getting my squats in tomorrow morning. Deadlifts on Sunday before the Baltimore game.
 
Been having some really frustrating stuff happening in training. Haven't been able to have a good lower body day in a few sessions. Will post training stuff when I have anything useful to post. Less than 3 weeks out.

So I wanna give a quick review type thing on my new SBD sleeves. They're awesome. The warmth is great. The support is great. Blah blah blah. But most importantly I came home to my puppy Klokov trying to chew them up. And they stayed in tact. Durable fücking sleeves for sure. Kind of cant believe they weren't destroyed.
 
How much of a water cut do you guys think I can get away with, without affecting my lifts? With a 2-hour weigh in.

I believe I'm 202 right now. So I may need to try and drop a bit.
 
2-4% tops on a two hour weigh in. I would not want to get much above 202.

Felt good. Booked a sports massage for tomorrow morning. Hopefully all the trouble is behind me.
 
The massage was horribly painful. At one point she used her knee on my hamstring. I do feel a bit better though.
 
I'm starting to question his devotion to my fantasy team.

It turned out okay with that 80 yarder to Bryant who I had in my flex.



Anyways, nothing huge to report. Worked up to my deadlift opener. 355. Hit it fairly easily although the bar keeps drifting on me. Put my weight more on my heels and it seemed to mostly clear it up. Less than 2 weeks until the competition now.

Last squart session

Worked up to 315 for 3 sets of 1. Easy enough. With commands. Depth was easy. I'm still feeling a bit unstable and leaning to one side a tad. But nothing terrible. 350 should be doable but we'll see once competition day rolls around.
