I don't see why they couldn't. If they really wanted to they could give you a script for GHB or methamphetamine, but they may not want to. Same applies to proviron. I think its medical use was to treat ED, but with viagra/cialis/levitra and their company pimps, I doubt they will give it to you.

GHB can be prescribed only for a very limited application. It must be delivered directly to the patient from one special distribution point.

No No, I don't think doctors are the pimps, I mean the representives that come to see them. Sorry, it just annoys me how pharm companies basically bribe some doctors into giving out their meds, even if they are not the best for the job.

Yes meth is perscibed as Desoxyn from Ovction Pharmaceuticals. I think its used for ADD primarily.

And I am aware GHB is tightly controlled, I just think its funny it was banned, raised to a Class I, then dropped to a class II as a pharm version came out. Makes me wonder who really makes the laws in this country is all.

Sorry about being wrong about the proviron though, I didn't realize it was not FDA approved in the US.

Anyone prescribing those medications will be under very tight scrutiny.

I would hazard a guess the only reason Proviron is not FDA-approved is because no one wanted to come up with the small fortune it takes for same.

I'm aware that GHB nor meth is commonly perscibed, but they can be. Desoxyn is normally only perscibed as a last ditch effort, in either cases of extreme obesity or when all other meds for ADD have failed. I think its a shame GHB isn't perscribed more often or for sale as a supplement anymore. Grant, some abused the drug, but its a lot less toxic than alcohol, which is abused for the same purposes. Infact, I think the only clinically approved use of GHB is for alcohol withdrawl, but I could be wrong.

I get what you mean on Proviron, there just isn't enough of a market for it someone to jump through the hoops needed to get it approved for sale. Ironically, someone took the time to get meth and GHB approved though. Which not only have niche markets, but a very negitive stigma around them.

Like girls who drink too much are never raped? I'm in college and can't tell you the number of times this has happened to female friends. I think its a shame that it happens, but the government is quite two faced about the problem. It was just amazing how it became illegal for sale as a supplement then was approved for medical purposes, I think there is more to it then just "date rape." Also you can still purchase some of the percursers online at a very cheap price ie 1,4 Butanediol. Which has very similar activity at not much higher dosage, but far greater toxicity (from what I have read anyway).

Proviron IS DHT. its methyl-1-DHT that is why its such an effective antiestrogen and libido enhancer.

It doesnt seem fair that Proviron cant be given as an RX like they do in Europe. It would seem like its a better alternative to TRT because it doesnt shut you down. I think everyone worries about the effects of DHT too much. You need some DHT for sex drive.

sorry i dont have anything to contribute tho lol. just wanted to say some good points made here. Aspire i agree totally, companies pimp there medicine give out free stuff to doctors etc just to get them to use their medicine. Its sickening to me, they have so much power if you look at it.

haha i was actually thinking of all the clocks, pens, and other office things that doctors have basically advertising the medicines name.

I double dip between a free medical insurance (no copay) and my company provided medical insurance ( which i have yet to use) so free is good for me seeing how i have over $165,000 of medical bills to pay. It makes my day to know that i owe that much money for breathing again.

Hey, I NEED those clocks, pens (the Viagra pens are given to patients--currently all the rage), but mostly, the little note pads. I go through 'em like crazy.

Free stuff like that obviously keeps your office supply costs down, and lower fees for patients

I would stand by the idea that Proviron is not the same as using, for instance, a transdermal DHT.

Thanks for the info Dr. John. My urologist put me on androgel yesterday. I hope it starts raising my libido some. How long does it usually take? My urologist said that a varicocele will not cause a loss in testosterone, but that just doesnt seem right. Should I stop the androgel and just get the varicocele fixed?

type "1,4-butanediol" into google and see what comes up for companies selling it. I'm not talking about the wheel cleaner either. I wouldn't purchase it personally due to the fact that I'm sure the DEA is watching sales of it, but it is out their, as far as I know, easily purchased.

You're absolutely right - it must not have come up the first time I did my search. I'm still leery of purchasing though. I don't see how they're legally selling it.

well its not federally scheduled, as far as I know, but it is considered a controlled substance in some states. The reason it hasn't be scheduled as of yet and its still legal(ish) is because of its use as an industrial solvent. Its also used to manufacture a lot of other things so there is a legitiment need. I would bet ,however , that it is closely monitered by the DEA. Like I said, I personally wouldn't order it.

DHT does not make for good TRT. While it provides libido, etc., its suppression at the HPTA lowers T production and throws everything off. You then have too little estrogen.

DHT also increases intra-abdominal fat. Very bad for cardiovascular health.

At what levels does DHT start to cause the issue of increased VAT?? I know that levels are "safe" far above the test range norms but at what levels does this phenomenan typically occur?
